I have always been a lipstick gal and gloss used to remind me of being younger when your mum would let you use makeup for the first time and it was pink glittery gloss. However, recently I have really gotten into glosses and there are some incredible ones out there now, I also love a gloss as I get really dry lips and these don't dry them out like lipsticks can. Today's post is a round up of all of those I have been loving.
This was one of the products that got me back into glosses, they are a really pigmented formula so almost look like a glossy lipstick rather than a sheer gloss. They come in an amazing 34 shades so you're bound to find a shade that you like, Tiramisu is my favourite as its such a pretty nude shade that works for everyday. The formula of these glides on easily and stays in place for ages with reapplication only needed after eating or drinking.
Although these are billed as a topper over your lipstick I like to wear it on it's own as a gloss. Skinny Dip is my favourite and it is a translucent shade with a gold shimmer running through it, but it isn't too out there or over the top glittery. These are quite a light formula so it works well on top of lipstick or on their own.
Buxom are well known for their lip products and especially their lip polishes, they are a gloss formula but with added plumping power for your lips. They plump lips but still look natural, although you do get that tingling feeling from the plumping effect. The formula contains vitamins A and E, which both help keep lips soft and moisturised.
This is probably one of my favourite lip gloss formulas, it's a very thick formula for intense colour pay off with some serious high shine. The flat sponge applicator makes it easy to apply a thick coat over the lips and an opaque colour pay off. I have the shade Butterscotch and is a lovely peachy nude shade.
The formula of these is more sheer than the likes of the NYX and ABH glosses and the colour pay off isn't quite as intense. These have a non-sticky formula so it saves your hair getting caught in those windy moments but still have a lovely amount of shine.
This was something I got in a set and I wasn't sure i'd use it but the glosses are such a lovely formula. The gloss is pigmented but still natural looking and just enhances the natural colour of the lips. The duo comes with a satin lipstick to match the gloss and you can either layer them together or wear them separately.
These glosses are something a little different as they have the holographic effect to them. They area a light formula that can either be applied on top of another lipstick or on their own. I love these holographic shades for a natural look but one that reflects nicely in the sunlight especially the gold shade.
What are your favourite lip gloss brands?

Will keep these suggestions in mind. I actually haven't worn lipgloss in years.

I've recently started getting into wearing gloss, after not going near it for years. I love the ABH ones, the one you have looks so pretty. I've got the shade Toffee, and it's a favourite xx

I was surprised to see the variety of shades from light to dark. long lasting dark lipstick color lasts all day without needing to reapply. I would definitely recommend this to my friends.
