Today's post is features some of the new beauty bits I have picked up before and after Christmas. At the moment i'm not really buying too many makeup products as our house being built nears closer and I need to get saving lots of money, however, I have still picked up a few new bits recently and especially some drugstore products I have been wanting to try.

Ever since Holly Boon mentioned this concealer on her YouTube is has blown up and is sold out in most stores, I managed to pick up a few shades online. Basically this is a dupe for the famous Tarte Shape Tape concealer with its full coverage and matte finish. This is the perfect concealer for me as it covers my dark circles and doesn't wear away. It has a large sponge applicator so it covers the area easily and blends in well. I have 3 shades and they all work for me, I favour C3 as it has a pink undertone that helps minimise my dark circles.

I am so glad these have finally arrived in the UK and I had to pick them all up. Being a highlighter junkie these are totally for me. There are three launched in Superdrug, bronze, gold and holographic, the latter two are definitely the best for me as the bronze shade is a little too dark for me, i'll definitely use it more in the summer as an all over bronzer. The holographic shade is a pretty silver pink with a light reflecting shimmer to it.

This is my go to everyday foundation at the moment as it's such a natural feel and finish but an amazing amount of coverage. It's definitely more than a CC cream for me as others I have tried aren't normally full coverage but this hides everything and evens out my skin tone. This is hydrating on my skin and lasts all day without creasing.

Tarte is fast becoming one of my favourite makeup brands and this setting spray is so good. It's a really fine mist that helps lock in my makeup but also give my skin some radiance. This can either be applied before my makeup as a base or after to set everything in place.

Unfortunately this has now sold out but they normally have similar things out so hopefully it will come back. It features 4 of their famous amazonian clay blushers and this one has a pink/oranage theme to it so its more for summer. The Amazonian blushers are one of my fave formulas as they are really pigmented and last for hours on the skin.

Maybelline mascaras are always a winner for me and this one is just that. This has a fluffy fibre brush that helps coat every lash and give that wispy full look my lashes. The formula is enriched with coconut so it helps my lashes stay in good condition. I find that this gives more volume than length but I just use another mascara for that.

As soon as I saw Kim Kardashian was releasing these I had to try them out, I had quite a bit of hassle getting these and it was about 6 weeks by the time I had them due to the post office just leaving it sat at my local delivery office and not sending me the customs charge. These duos have a shimmering pigment and lipgloss. I went for iridescent as I already have quite a few gold/rose gold pigments and glosses. The iridescent shade is a silvery pink that reflects in the light.

This is another Holly Boon induced buy as she raved about it in another video and this looks like such a dupe for the ABH Subculture palette. The shades in this palette are so different with greens, yellows, purples and then some more neutral shades. The formula of the shades is good for an affordable brand and they wear really nice.
