This is one trend i'm happy is around and hope it stays. I'm a massive highlighter fan and now I can add that to my lips with all of these gorgeous lip products that can be added to other lipsticks or worn on their own. These come in a metallic, shimmer and holographic look and really add something different to lips.
Jouer really nail this trend with their lip product ranges and this iridescent metallic offering is so pretty and looks incredible on the lips. It's a metallic warm peach shade that has a gold shimmer to that reflects in the sunlight. I like to wear this paired with a nude lip and the Jouer Skinny Dip lip topper on top to really enhance it.
This is the newest offering to Jouer's lip topper range and I just couldn't resist the prettiness of it. This shade is a holographic shade with pink, silver, blue and green reflects to it so it will look perfect added to lots of different lip shade. These have a glossy formula so they don't dry the lips out and have a shine to them.
I'm so happy drugstore brands have jumped on this trend these glosses for L'Oreal are so pretty, I actually have all of them except for the blue one and they really add something pretty to normal lipstick. In the range there is Polaris, a soft pink, Opal, a silver white, and Etheral, a yellow gold, then the blue shade is Saphire. All them are holographic so they reflect in the light.
This whole range by Lime Crime is a gorgeous selection of jewel tones and the shade I have, Choke, is one of the more muted tones. Admittedly it is very similar to Jouer's Funfetti but this has more of a pink tone to it and an intense shimmer to it.
This one form Bourjois is more of an intense metallic than some of the other shimmer lip toppers. This is a gloss so it has that shiny look and keeps my lips soft and moisturised. Guilded Rose is a pretty bronze shade that gives a natural shimmer to the lips.
I got my Huda Lip strobe in one of her lip tins but they do full size versions of these. Following the success of her matte liquid lipsticks these lacquers have iridescent shimmer, glitter and duo chrome pigments. Ritzy is a golden shade that is the perfect pairing for a nude.
This gloss from L'Oreal is such a good dupe for the Jouer Skinny Dip Lip Topper, this is a gold shimmer gloss that looks perfect paired with a nude lip.
I picked up this gem in TK Maxx but I can't seem to find it online now so i'm guessing it has been discontinued. This is a really pretty holographic lip gloss in a pink shade that blends into a red.

While these shimmery/metallic lips do look pretty on swatch form, I do not like wearing any product with shimmer/glitter on my lips. It simply doesn't look good on me.
