I love highlighters, anything with a shimmer that will make my skin glow is a must for me. That means I am always buying highlighters and my collection is pretty big right now. This post is all about the new highlighters in my collection and the ones I am using a lot at the moment.
I have wanted to try the Cover FX highlighters for ages and this mini was the perfect way to try it. Moonlight is a soft peachy gold shade that helps warm up the skin. These highlighters give a real subtle, dewy glow to the skin.
MUA Prism Highlighter in Solar Flare | £4.00
These highlighters really intrigued me from MUA and they are all themed around iridescent jewel tones. This shade was one of the more subtle colours compared to the other blue, green and purple shades, Solar Flare is a holographic pale peach shade that will be perfect for paler skin tones. These are finely milled powders and I actually had to buff away the top layer in the pan before getting the powder to apply properly.
Pixi Glow-y Powder in London Lustre | £14.00
This was a bargain find for me as it was half price in the M&S sale. Pixi list these under powders but its definitely more of a highlighter for me. London Lustre is a very pale yellow gold shade with light reflecting particles to really brighten the skin.
Jouer Powder Highlighter in Skinny Dip | £19.00
I'm such a big fan of the Skinny Dip lip topper that the highlighter was an obvious next step and I managed to pick up the trio they released for Christmas. Skinny Dip is a pinky bronze shade and i'm obsessed with how shimmery and pigmented these are.
Maybelline Master Holographic Highlighter in Opal | £7.99
I am so happy that these have finally arrived in the UK and I immediately rushed to Superdrug to pick them up. I got this one and the bronze shade but I would say the latter is slightly too dark for me, especially this time of year when i'm pale. The holographic version is a silvery pink shade with a pretty shimmer to it.
Tarte Goddess Glow Highlighter | £21.00
This was a bargain buy for me as I think I got it around £14 in their sale before Christmas. The compact itself is pretty big so it's going to last me for a while. This is a pressed powder highlighter with a pretty pattern embossed in it, its a soft Champagne shade, which is my favourite shade of highlighter so i'll be using this a lot.
Nars Overexposed Glow Highlighter Man Ray Holiday Highlighter | £28.00
As soon as I saw Nars were releasing this I just had to have it. This is a universally flattering golden bronze shade with a pretty dewy glow to it. Part of the Man Ray collection this has a fun lip design embossed into it and the signature black Nars packaging.

I've also been loving the nars x man ray highlight, although I do hate using it and ruining the gorgeous print on the powder!
