NEW SKINCARE BITS

I don't buy as much new skincare as I do makeup but I do like to change up my routine and try out new products. Today's post is a run down of the products I have been recently trying out and helping me combat the recent breakout i'm having due to all the bad foods this Christmas.

This was one of my sales buys as I spotted it on Feel Unique with 35% off and the value of it is over £70. I have wanted to try First Aid beauty for the longest time and this set is perfect as you get to try some of its best sellers including Ultra Repair Cream, Face Cleanser, Facial Radiance Pads, Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum and the Ultra Repair Intensive Lip Balm. All of these products help hydrate and protect the skin and I have found dry patches on my skin visibly reduced. I have loved the Ultra Repair Cream, it's a rich emollient cream deeply hydrates my skin but isn't heavy or sticky so perfect for everyday use.

I like this product as it feels so lovely on the skin and has such a lovely smell to it. This is a versatile product that can be used as a light layer in the morning, a thicker layer at night or a really thick layer as a mask and then the additional removed. This is a rich balm formula that is moisturising on the skin and contains 96% of the ingredients in the natural origin of honey.

I have read about this a few times and thought it was worth trying since Aldi have some gems. This Caviar cream promises luxury skincare as a fraction of the cost and this is around £10 in store I believe. The day cream is a light texture so you can easily apply foundation on top of it. I have found that this is perfect for my dry skin and it still feels plump even hours later. This also includes SPF so perfect in the summer months when you need some protection.

This is a revolutionary product for me and it makes wearing a face mask so easy as you dont have the messy removal of it. It's a charcoal based mask that helps purify and remove dead skin cells. The think thats interesting about this is that this mask is removed using a magnetic and I was amazed at how easy it came away. Once removed there is a slight residue on the skin which can be massaged into the skin leaving a glowing complexion.

I got a mini tube of this in a set I got on offer at Boots but I will definitely buy again once I have finished that. This is a clay formula that dries to draw out impurities from the skin and leaves it feeling smooth and clear. This can be used as an all over face mask or on single blemishes to help clear them.

Unfortunately this skincare range isn't available online but you can find lots of the products in TK Maxx. This time around I have been trying out the Micellar Mousse which is as you guessed it a micellar water but in mousse format, I like that this can be massaged into the skin and washed away as I find its more delicate on my skin. The other products is a cleansing oil and this is my go to when I have had a lot of makeup on as it litereally melts it off.

What skincare products have you been trying out recently?
