A serum or facial oil has become a must in my skincare routine and especially at nighttime when it has time to work on my skin and really help. My skin can often feel dry and dehydrated so applying a serum/oil before my moisturiser really helps combat that and in the morning after sleeping on it my skin feels soft, supple and plump. Here are the products I have been favouring recently.
This is my go to facial oil when my skin is feeling sensitive and that is mostly this time of year due to the cold weather drying my skin out and making it feel irritated. It has a combination of hydrating sandalwood oil and soothing lavender oil which both work to leave the skin feeling comfortable and refreshed. Grape Seed Oil also helps balance out my complexion and leave it looking clear and even.
I have been using this product for years and i'm hoping it has been helping my skin appear younger. This serum has been scientifically proven to help reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles and in the morning my looks glowing and refreshed. Although this is called night repair I use it in the morning also as it creates a nice base for my foundation.
Another overnight treatment that helps my skin visibly appear refreshed and radiant by the morning. This is a really lightweight oil so it doesn't feel heavy or clog the skin up. It contains a combination of lavender and primrose oil to help sooth the skin and make it feel less irritated and to help boost radiance. The combination of oils also creates a lovely smell and the lavender helps me fall asleep at night.
This is a brand I don't think gets enough credit as they have some amazing products and Kourtney Kardashian was their brand ambassador so the products must be pretty good. This facial oil contains the signature Manuka oil to help give you a more youthful looking complexion as the skins suppleness is improved to help remove the appearance of fine lines. One thing about this is that I'm not so keen on the smell but once its on the skin I don't notice it.
This is one of the more thick and heavy oils so I use this when my skin is feeling dry and tight. This is rich in omegas to help regenerate the skin to appear bright and repair it from damage, after using this in the morning my skin feels soft and dry patches have disappeared.
What are your favourite facial oils?

I haven't used any of these serums before! I have been enjoying one from a brand Lamelle.

I have wanted to try that Kiehl's oil for years as I have heard the most incredible reviews on it! I definitely need to try it out for myself. x

I've previously tried the Estee Lauder Night Repair and my skin reacted really badly to it, I think it's way too active for me. I've heard so many amazing things about the Kiehl's oil and to learn it doesn't clog pores is a winner for me! A definite must try soon! xx
