NEW IN BEAUTY

My makeup is collection has grown yet again and I have picked up some amazing new bits recently so I thought they were worthy of a post. This time of year is great for makeup release as all the Christmas releases are out and they are either brand new limited edition products or minis so you can try out products before buying the full size.

Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Skin Twinkle Lighting Palette | £24.00

The Tarte highlighters have been catching my eye for ages and I finally picked this beauty of a palette up recently when they have a week worth of offers, I think the price went down to £18 when I ordered. The palette has a duo of highlighters, Sunlight, a champagne gold, Filtered Sunlight, a muted sand shade and Moonlight, a rosy pearl shade. These are so pigmented and especially the two out shades have the mots beautiful shimmer running through them.

MAC Snowball Collection I'm Glistening Lipstick | £16.50

This years MAC Christmas collection is so beautiful and the packaging is amazing, with a gold flecked design and a very etherial feel to the products. This lipstick is a light purple shade with a shimmer to it. It's in a frost finish so there is a sheen to it and moisturising on the lips.

L'Oreal Infallible Merry Metals Glow Kit | £12.99

These L'Oreal palettes have always caught my eye and this festive edition from them is so pretty and a gorgeous collection of shades. This one it metallic themed with 5 shades including, a bronze, a bright copper, a champagne, a silver white and a shimmering lavender shade. These have quite a powdery texture but there is a good amount of pigmentation and such a pretty shimmer to them.

L'Oreal Holographic Glow Kit | £12.99

This is the Superdrug exclusive glow kit from L'Oreal and is a fun selection of holographic shades. Like the Merry Metals one there is 5 shades featuring a blue, purple and pink shades, the formula is quite powdery but they have a good amount of glow and look pretty on the skin.

KoKo Lashes | £7.50-£11.50*

I love trying out new false eyelash brands and KoKo has become a favourite of mine for its premium style lashes but without the price tag. They have a more affordable range at £7.50 and I love the wispy style 501s from this range. Their more premium range is priced at £11.50 and the Amore style is a full bodied lash that tapers out to the outer corner and gives that cat eye effect.

SOSU x Primark Lashes | £5.00

This new range at Primark really caught my eye when I was last in there. I had heard of SOSU before but I don't think they have been readily available in the UK. This range has numerous different styles but the London one was for me as it was more of a natural look that just adds some length and volume.

Stila Written in the Starts Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadow Set | £25.00

This Stila set and the Eyes for Elegance one are both perfect stocking fillers for the makeup lover, and it lets you try out minis of their bestselling liquid eyeshadows before buying a full size version. The trio set includes three glitters and the 6 set includes three more glitters in different shades and then three minis of the new shimmer and glow.

Primark Pure Glow Highlighter | £3.00

I already had a few shades of these gorgeous Primark highlighters but the most recent shades are so beautiful I couldn't resist. Mink Pink and Breakfast Club are both pretty powder pink shades that look beautiful on my skin tone and the pigmentation is incredible for such a cheap price. I would definitely recommend heading down to Primark and picking these up.

L'Oreal Infallible Lip Gloss in Disco Ball | £6.99

I kind of picked this up on a whim but it's such a beautifully glitter lipgloss that looks amazing on top of a lipstick. As soon as I swatched this it looked like the perfect dupe for Jouer Skinny Dip lip topper, so if you're after a dupe then pick this up. It's a translucent nude gloss with gold glitter running through it.

L'Oreal Galaxy Holographic Strobing Lip Gloss in Opal | £7.99

Another part of a the Galaxy Holographic collection and is joining the trend of lip toppers. This holographic collection are more like shimmer gloss instead of the shimmers that other lip toppers are. Opal is a silver white shades with a gold holographic glow to it.

Nars Man Ray Double Take Overexposed Glow Highlighter | £28.00

This years holiday collection from Nars really caught my eye and especially this beautiful highlighter. I have yet to try any Nars highlighters but this one has wowed me, it isnt an intense shimmer but more of a natural luminosity. It's a golden bronze shade with the adorable lip pattern embossed in the compact.

MAC Snowball Glitter and Pigment Kit Gold | £25.00

Another Christmas release this year that I just had to pick some bits up from. The pigment kit is so cute with minis and an adorable sequin cosmetic bag. You get two pigments, a champagne pink and a silver white, and a gold glitter pink. I am loving the pigments so far, they look lovely on the eyes and can be used dry or wet.

Estee Lauder Blockbuster Collection | £65.00 (with a perfume purchase 50ml and over)

I am loving all the products from this years set from Estee Lauder, its such an amazing product for £65 as you get palettes, lipsticks, mascara, and skincare bits. I have been loving the lipsticks for everyday shades, there are three shades in the set and the two pink shades are such pretty colours and the formulas so comforting on the lips.

No7 Shimmer Palette in Caramel | £13.50

I haven't really used No7 makeup for ages but this shimmer palette caught my eye and it looks so much like the Bobbi Brown shimmer bricks for a fraction of the price. This is the caramel version so its a selection of neutral bronzes and golds with the prettiest shimmer to it. The packaging is also lovely with a chrome gold outer and a similar shape to some of the Charlotte Tilbury products.

Have you picked up any of these products recently?
