A shimmer eyeshadow is my favourite look and especially this time of year, with christmas parties you can't go wrong with a shimmer look. I have found you can get much more of an impact with a liquid eye product as it lasts long and the shimmer appears more intense. So todays post is me sharing some of my favourite cream/liquid eyeshadow products.
I have been wanting to try the Stila glitters for ages and this mini trio is the perfect way to try them out without buying a full size. The glitters are so intense and pigmented that dry down so they don't smudge at all. These can either be worn alone or with eyeshadow. Some of my favourite shades are Peachy Sheen, a shimmery nude and Diamond Dust, a sparkling silver.
Stila have launched their new shimmer and glow liquid eyeshadows which are more of a metal look rather than a glitter and I am obsessed with them. The look of these is quite opaque and I love using these to create a cut crease look. In this linked set you get three of the shimmers, Grace is a bronze and Kitten in a soft champagne.
I was so excited to see a drugstore brand joining this trend and these liquid eyeshadows from L'Oreal are really love. There are a shimmer with a fine glitter running through it. Eternal white is snow white shimmer shade that I love for an inner corner highlight. Rude Boy is part of their Merry Metals range available on ASOS but this shade is out of stock now, it's a vibrant copper shade that's very pigmented and intense.
Primark Precious Metals Liquid Eyeshadow | £2.00
Obviously these aren't available online but I do wish Primark would hurry up and get itself online. However, these are so amazing for just £2.00, they are insanely pigmented and dry down to a gorgeous metallic metal.
This is a products I expected a lot from as in the tube the shade look amazing, Brushed Copper is more of a soft gold than bronze for me. However, its the formula that has disappointed me in this, it isn't very opaque and I found it more smeared over my eye lids instead of the metal look I'm after.
Onto more cream products now and this gem from 3ina has really wowed me. The moussey cream formula is pigmented and dries down immediately so it stays on my eyes all day. 313 is a dark bronze that give a simple bronzed eye look in seconds.
I have quite a few of these and they are pretty amazing. They are a really lightweight formula that glides on easily and really pops on the eyes. The staying powder isn't the best and it does wear off after a few hours. My favourite shade is definitely Pearly Silver Rose as its a pretty intense silver shimmer with a rose tint to it.
These were the original cream eyeshadows I picked up and I still love them to this day. They are quite a thick cream formula that doesn't glide on as smooth as id like but it stays in place all day as the name would suggest. I have quite a few shades and I like the mattes for everyday use but the shimmers are so pretty, favourites are On and On Bronze and Eternal Gold.
Do you use any of these liquid eyeshadows?

I love the KIKO ones and of course the Maybelline Color Tattoos for shimmery looks. For me if I want a glittery eye look now I just go straight for my Stila Magnificent Metals in Bronzed Bell xxx

I love that Stila have put their liquid eyeshadows into a set! It gives you the opportunity to try a few more shades and at a small size which I think is so cute. Maybelline Colour Tattoo's are just amazing - so quick and easy to use.
