THE PRODUCTS YOU NEED TO TRY FROM THE BODY SHOP

The Body Shop Favourites

The Body Shop have definitely upped their game over the last few years and some of their new launches are amazing. Years ago I use to love going in there and picking up the body butters and sprays in different scents but now their skincare range is incredible and the makeup products are really wowing me. I guess one of the biggest selling points is that they are cruelty free and since lots of people are turning in that direction you have lots of amazing products to choose from. Todays post is about the products I would recommend you go and try.

This was one of the first skincare products I tried from them but it really wowed me and I have now picked up most of this range. The buttery formula helps melt off my makeup easily and doesn't aggravate my skin like some cleansers can. The camomile helps sooth the skin and refresh it and would be great for even those with sensitive skin.

This is one of my fave masks to try and I love the warming feeling it gives as it really feels like it is doing something to the skin. The clay style mask helps draw out impurities from the skin leaving it feeling soft and clear. This is also great at reducing the oiliness of my t-zone so I will often just apply this to that area instead of all over my face.

Vitamin C Energising Face Spray | £12.00 & Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser | £16.00

This is one of my favourite ranges from The Body Shop and I'm already on my third tub of the moisturiser. The vitamin c helps boost the radiance of my skin and help make it appear brighter and refreshed. I like to use the facial spray in the morning to wake my skin up and add some moisture before my makeup application. The moisturiser has a gel like formula so is really hydrating on the skin and sinks in quickly without feeling heavy on the skin.

Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleep Mask | £25.00

I really love using overnight products as it does all the hard work while I'm fast asleep and its great when I'm too busy to sit there with a face mask on. This one helps plump and smooth out skin and help skin appear younger and brighter. This again has a gel formula that feels hydrating on the skin but not heavy and allows the skin to breath.

Matte Liquid Lip | £6.00

It took me so long to try these and I'm so annoyed it did as I love the formula. It has a matte finish but is a very lightweight formula that doesn't go clumpy or patchy like other matte formulas. I would say these are very similar to the Nyx Soft Matte Lip Creams. I have the shades Windsor Rose, a mauve pink, and Cali Gerbera, a neon orange shade.

Instaglow Bright Glow | £15.00

This is another product it took me a while to try but on holiday I loved it for helping my skin glow from within. This colour corrector evens out the skin tone while also adding glow. The formula is smooth and creamy, it smooths out my pores to help my foundation glide on and keep my moisturised. I have bright glow which is a soft pink shade that is more suited to paler skin tones.

Vanilla Pumpkin Body Butter | £15.00

I don't normally get sucked into pumpkin themed products as I'm not keen on the smell but this one mixed with vanilla is so gorgeous and autumnal. The Body Shop butters are so lovely and rich on the skin and help combat dry patches. The festive packaging is also so cute and I will definitely be stocking up before it is discontinued after Christmas.

Honey Bronze Drops of Sun | £12.00

I already had the light shade adjusting drops but I thought these would be perfect for darkening foundations and especially in the summer. As well as darling foundation this can also be used as a base on its own or with moistures to make it tinted. This has a matte finish and is shimmer free so if you just want a subtle bronzed look then go for this.

Drops of Youth Liquid Peel | £18.00

This is probably one of the most intensive skincare products I have tried and overtime I use it I'm amazed at the results. You basically swirl this gel like formula all over your face and and dead skin peels away, it is pretty disgusting but also so satisfying at the same time. After using it my skin feels so much smoother and clear and any dry patches are reduced. Another good thing is that this doesn't feel too intense or harsh on the skin even though it is visibly exfoliating it.

Are any of these your favourite products?
