TARTE MAKEUP COLLECTION

Tarte Makeup Collection

Tarte is definitely becoming one of my favourite brands and considering I only picked up some products last year I have amassed quite a collection. One of the best things about them is that they are now available on QVC and they often have deals where you get 4/5 products for an amazing price, which is how my collection has grown so fast.

Tarte Maneater Palette

So annoying that this palette seems to have been discontinued as it really is a gorgeous selection of shades and Tarte are some of my fave formulas. This contains a selection of warm shades, including pink, burnt orange and browns. The formula of these is so pigmented and they have the signature cocoa smell Tarte gives its eyeshadows.

Clay Stick Foundation | £35.00

This has been on my list to try for ages and I finally picked it up in a recent QVC deal and I have to say it hasn't disappointed. The formula is full coverage but not heavy and it blends into my skin beautifully with a semi matte finish. The formula also helps hydrate the skin but doesn't make it appear greasy or oily.

Coconut Oil Lipstick

They don't seem to do this type of lipstick anymore, it was part of a set on QVC so I'm thinking it was limited edition to that. This is a creamy and hydrating formula that glides onto my lips and has a satin finis but with a good amount of pigmentation. The shade I have is a dark mauve pink that is great not that were transitioning into autumn.

Amazonian Clay Matte Waterproof Bronzer | £25.00

I picked this up ages ago now in a set I got in Sephora in NY and I can't seem to find the exact one online but have linked the matter version. Mine has a slight satin finish to instead of matte. Its a light cool toned bronzer shade that is perfect for a chiselled contour but still looking natural.

Amazonian Clay 12-hour Foundation | £30.00

If I want a full coverage foundation that is going to last then this is what I go for. This thick formula covers all of my imperfections and gives a flawless finish but still lets my skin breath. This is a thicker, heavier version of the foundation stick wit that same semi matte finish that also helps hydrate the skin.

Maneater Voluptuous Mascara | £21.00

I am pretty obsessed with the Tarte mascaras and this is just another ones that I have loved. This has a silicone brush with lots of tiny bristles that coat every lash, curling and lengthening them. This has quite a wet formula that looks intense on the lashes and also strengthens the lashes with jojoba.

Tartiest Pro Glow To Go Highlight and Contour Palette | £25.00

I love contour and highlight duos and this one is great as it contains two different highlighters to pick from. The contour shade is a warm chocolate brown and it also have that signature cocoa smell. The highlighters are a silver champagne and a golden sand, the champagne shade has more of an intense shimmer and the sand shade is more of a dewy glow.

Amazonian Clay Blush | £25.00

The Tarte blushes are pretty famous and lots of people rave about then so I had to pick myself up a few. The clay formula gives a long wearing look of colour without any chalky or powdery look. I have Natural Beauty, a rosy red shade and Achiote, a coral pink shade but this seems to have been discontinued.
Lights, Camera, Lashed 4-in1 Mascara | £21.00

Another of their amazing mascaras and this one I got in the limited edition iridescent packaging which has all the Unicorn and Mermaid vibes. This has a fibre brush that gives that natural wispy look to lashes. I like to use this to give my lashes volume and then add a lengthening mascara on top.

Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation | £30.00

As you can tell I have now tried quite a few Tarte foundations and this is more of a natural finish compared to the previous two in this post. This has a medium coverage and quite a watery consistency to give skin lots of hydration and a boost. Although its a medium coverage it still covers all the imperfections I want hiding.

Spellbound Glow Rainbow Highlighter | £23.00

This is now on sale so I would definitely recommend picking this up. Rainbow highlighters are pretty big at the moment but this one has more a natural take on it with pastel pinks and purple mixed with a soft gold and silver white to give more of a natural look. This has a silky soft formula that sits beautifully on the skin.

Empowered Gel Hybrid Foundation | £30.00

Another foundation but the final one I have tried from them. This is one I have only used a handful of times and really should use it more. It's a gel formula so different from all my others and quite thick on the skin, however the formula does sink in quickly and adds lots of hydration. It's an oil free formula so if you suffer with oily skin this would be a good one to try.

The Lip Sculptor Lipstick & Lipgloss | £21.00

I have a couple of these duos and they are great as you get both a lipstick and a gloss tat can be worn together or on their own. The lipstick is pigmented with a satin finish with coconut oil to moisturise the skin. The gloss is high shine but without any stickiness you can get with other glosses.

Amazonian Butter Lipstick | £11.00

These are another product that were on sale and so seem to be being discontinued. These, as you can probably guess, have a buttery rich formula wit ingredients from the Amazon that moisturise and hydrate the lips. The shade I have is another mauve pink and one of those thats my lips look better shade.

Ladies Night Clay Palette

This is a recent addition to my collection from a QVC collection but I can't seem to find it online so I'm thinking its either new or being discontinued. This palette is great as you get a highlight, bronzer and blush and a selection of eyeshadows so perfect to take away. The eyeshadows are all in the pink and burgundy theme so they nail the autumn trend.

Tartelette in Bloom Palette | £41.00

The final piece in my shockingly large collection and actually one of the first products I picked up form Tarte is the Tartelette in Bloom palette. This is a collection of neutral shades in a matte or shimmer finish. Compared to the original Tartelette palette this has softer more natural shades and very much a floral vibe.

Do you own any of these products from Tarte?
