You might have seen on my Twitter that I'm heading to Mexico on Friday and I couldn't be more excited, it feels like forever since i've been on holiday and so I can't wait to relax for a week. Heading to a warmer climate means I can bring out my summer lip shades again and these will all be heading to Mexico with me.
MAC Morange | £16.50 | post
This is one of my ultimate holiday lip picks and purely for the fact that as its so bright it feels like the only acceptable time to wear it. It's an amplified cream finish so really intense pigmentation and a creamy formula that is smooth to apply. This is loudmouth orange with a red undertone and the best shade to wear with a tan.
Jouer Skinny Dip Lip Topper | £13.50 | post
I'm sure people are probably sick of me mentioning this on my blog but it really is one of my fave lip products and its so versatile. I love to pair mine with a nude lip to jazz it up a bit but for holiday i'll be adding this to bright shades for a bit of sparkle.
Nyx Butter Gloss in Maple Blondie | £5.50 | post
I'm not normally a gloss wearer but I love these Nyx ones as the pigmentation is so intense its almost like wearing a shiny lipstick. This pinky coral shade is the perfect pop of colour for a holiday but still being quite natural. I like these glosses as they are nice and shiny but not sticky and last for a long time.
Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lip in Fire Cracker | £3.50
I had to pick up quite a few of these since they are so affordable and this colour is amazing. It's almost a neon pop of orangey, coral with a matte finish but still a nice smooth formula that glides on. This also has a great angled tip so you can easily line the lips and then fill them in. They also go a glossy version of this that is nice and moisturising with a shine.
Topshop Charmed Lipstick | £8.00
Unfortunately this isn't online anymore but I'm sure it still in store a they often have a bigger collection. I really like this orange shade as its a kind of muted pastel orange but still nice and bright and I haven't really seen a shade like it. This has a matte formula and I actually find these to be a very similar formula to MAC lipsticks.
Tom Ford Misbehaved Lip Colour | £40.00
These are the lipsticks I hate to use as they are so expensive and pretty to use, I did get this one at Bicester Village though so it was a little cheaper. This is a salmon pink shade in a satin formula so the pigmentation isn't the brightest but more of a natural colour with a slight sheen to its finish.
Rimmel Stay Matte in Latte To Go | £5.99
I have been so impressed with these since trying them and have picked up quite a few more shades now. A classic cool toned nude is a favourite pick of mine and this shade is just what I want, I think for some people with darker complexions it could look like concealer lips but I find it works for me and I think this will be gorgeous with Skinny Dip on top.
Nyx Liquid Suede is Life's a Beach | £7.00
I mainly get these liquid suedes out when I'm heading on holiday as the colours are so bright and intense. Life's a Beach is a pinky coral colour with that suede matte finish. I do find these drying so I can't wear them for prolonged periods but they colours are just so pretty and bright.
