Highlights are probably one of my biggest obsessions and a golden glow is a go to look. Although summer is ending and i'll be swapping a bronzed look for paler skin a golden highlighter is always a favourite for me. Today's post features all of those products I use for creating that bronzed goddess look and lots of these will be taken to Mexico with me to use with my tanned skin.
This as a highlighter is a little too dark for me but its perfect for a light bronzey base before contouring. This is a warm bronze shade with an intense shimmer. This has a baked formula but is still very buttery soft and smooth to apply to the skin.
These newbies by MUR caught my eye as they look like a good dupe for the Cover FX enhancer drops that I have been meaning to try. I like that these can be used as a base before foundation, mixed with foundation or as an actual highlighter. Champagne is a pale golden bronze shade for a gorgeous luminous glow.
This is one of my all time fave highlighters and I'm so happy to see that they seem to have gotten cheaper. Gilded Honey is a honey gold with an intense shimmer that really catches the light. This is quite pigmented and intense so depending on the look you want you might need to be careful with how much you put on your brush.
Onto something not so much a highlighter but instead to make my eyes pop. I have really started to like liquid eyeshadows as I love how they dry down to a shimmery metallic shade. This shade is called brushed copper but for me its definitely a pale bronze shade. One good thing about this liquid eyeshadow is that its hydrating so even when it dries down it does dry the skin out.
Champagne Pop is always going to be a winner for me but I love its little sister - Prosecco Pop. This one is much more of a golden yellow shade that gives that gorgeous dewy glow. This still has that finely milled formula that makes it buttery soft to apply.
This is the ultimate warm toned golden themed palette with golds, bronzes and browns. These are in either a shimmer or matte finish. I really like the Zoeva eyeshadows as I find them really pigmented but easy to blend and they have good wear time. I love how with this you can create subtle looks or more intense smokey eye.
I'm so obsessed with this that i've almost finished my first tube so a new one will be needed soon. I love layering this on a nude lip or a bright pop of orange for added sparkle. This is a nude colour gloss with a shimmer running through it. This also helps keep my lips moisturised but not at all sticky.
I love the formula of the Ofra highlighters and I need to get my hands on the new Nikki Tutorials ones as the shades are gorgeous. The formula of these is so finely milled that it makes them buttery soft and smooth to apply with intense pigmentation. Rodeo Drive is a soft pale gold shade that gives a dewy glow rather than actual shimmer.
I have been so impressed with this highlighter and I wasn't expecting much as I didn't even know they did highlighters. This is a warm golden, bronze shade that works better when I'm more tanned. This is more of a glow products rather than an intense shimmer but is still very pigmented.
What are your favourite products for a golden glow?

I love Gilded Honey, it's gorgeous! I was so upset that I missed the Becca x Jaclyn Hill palette, love the blushes and highlights that it has :(
