COLOURPOP HAUL

I made yet another Colourpop order not so long ago as they had 20% off everything and I needed some more of their amazing eyeshadows pans in my life! I didn't go too overboard this time and steered clear of their liquid lipsticks as I just have so many already. Although I was not impressed with the time it took them to dispatch my order, I think it was almost 2 weeks from placing the order to it finally being dispatched and then I got the dreaded customs!

Im the biggest highlighter junkier and love the CP ones as they have such a unique formula, they are like a moussey, spongey cream in the pan but applies like a powder. I find they work best applied with my finger or blended in with a stippling brush. This shade is a pretty iridescent pink, with a duo chrome shimmer to it. I think one is definitely better for paler skin tones.

I picked this one up after reading Jasmine from Jasmine Talks Beauty mention it all the time and rave about it. Its part of the collaboration with Karrueche Tran and its such a lovely golden bronze shade. I have been using this for those day when I can't be bothered to do much with eyes, but it still adds some colour and a little shimmer.

I posted about these a little while ago (here) and I have been so impressed after using them for a while, so I picked up some more shades. As you can see from the swatches I kept the shades quite neutral as those are my go to and mainly picked different browns. Some people have said they don't like the formula of these but I actually really rate them, they are pigmented but easily to blend. The shimmers are buttery and soft and the mattes can be a little powdery with some fallout but nothing too bad. Here are the shades I picked up:

This new released from Colourpop really caught my eye as they are the perfect thing for everyday. They have a moisturising formula with a sheer finish that almost tints the lips rather than a full look of colour. They are also so weightless on the lips and look very natural. I went for the shades Deja Vu, a pinky nude and Ice Cube, a cool toned berry.

I love a good contour and highlight duo as they are just so handy for taking away or carrying round. This one is a collab with Alexis Ren and is probably more suited to darker skin tones but I can still make it work. The bronzer (Golden Moment) is a matte warm bronze shade and the highlighter (She's here to stay) is a true gold pearl highlighter. Like all the other CP face products I own they are super pigments and translate lovely on the skin.

Do you own any of these Colourpop products?

  4. Great haul, Colourpop is my favourite brand to order in bulk from because you get so much for so little. That "boxer" eyeshadow has instantly caught my eye. Would love to try the blotted lips formula because I think it'd be great for work. :)
