THE PINK LIP COLLECTION

If you read my blog a lot you'll know a nude lip is my number one go to lip shade but I do like to throw in a bright pop of colour sometimes. If I'm not wearing a nude a pink will be my next go to so I thought a blog post was due. This post is mainly pinks but there is some other similar sort of shades thrown in too.

This is one my MAC lipsticks I need to use more often as its such a pretty pop of pink. This is described as a bright blue fuchsia and is one of the best shades for making your teeth look super white. This is the amplified cream formula so its comfortable to wear and lasts all day.

CP are some of my favourite liquid lipstick formula, although I do prefer the satin finish the mattes are great too. Donut is Salmon pink shade that actually looks more pink in the tube but still the perfect summer shade. The formula is very much matte and can be a little drying so I don't tend to keep it on for too long.

This is one of my favourite gloss formulas and they are so great to wear day to day as they add a hint of colour and shine but are still subtle enough for work. Maple Blondie is a candy floss pink shade that can be applied lightly for a sheer look of built up for more intense colour.

I'd been wanting try out the Ofra liquid lipsticks for a while and had to order one so I went for the bright pop of pink - Hollywood. This is very similar to Girl About Town but just not quite as dark. These have a matte finish but I don't find them drying or uncomfortable to wear and they apply so easily with incredible pigmentation.

Hourglass Girl Lip Style in Seeker | £26.00

As soon as I saw these they caught my eye and I had to try one out. Seeker is a pinky rose shade but I find it actually translates brighter than the swatch when on my lips. This formula is silky smooth and applies like a dream for a sheer finish but can be built up. These has a pointed tip for an easy application and really keep my lips moisturised.

Kylie Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick in Kristen | $17.00

When swatched this actually looks so much more reddish compared to in the tube and on my lips, which is why its in this pink lip post. Its described as a warm berry brown but I would say its more of a berry pink when worn. As i've mentioned before these can be very matte and drying when worn but I try not to layer it up too much and always wear a balm underneath.

MAC Pink Plaid Lipstick | £16.50

I have quite a few pinkish shades from MAC but I think this is a firm favourite. Pink Plaid is a dirty blueish pink in a matte formula, however it is one of the creamier mattes I have from them. I love the muted tone of this and its a great lippie to throw on to add something but nothing too out there.

What are you top pink lip shades?
