NEW IN BEAUTY

Over the past few weeks I have picked up or kindly been sent quite a lot of new beauty products, and whilst some of them will have either already been featured on my blog or will be soon I thought a post on them all was deserving. Some of these have been very recently released and some are ones i'm only just discovering.

L'Oreal Riche Les Vernis A L'Huile Nail Lacquer | £4.99

The aesthetically pleasing design of these and gorgeous shade selection drew me in and I just had to have some. The formula of these is long wearing and you even get a full slick of colour in just one coat if your rushed. The shades I'm loving are Amoureax a light grey shade and Nude De Moi, a soft powder pink.

L'Oreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation | £14.00

This has intrigued me for a while and so I finally picked it up to try and I've been pleasantly surprised. It's a lightweight foundation that has a dewy finish but nothing shiny, it can be built up depending on the coverage you want. I apply this with a stippling brush and it blends in really well with a nice finish. My only hope is that the sponge doesn't dry out leaving it unusable.

Chanel Le Blanc De Chanel | £33.00

This has been on my wishlist for a while now and Debenhams had 10% off so I had to order.  This is a primer thats adds radiance to the skin but also creating a base for foundation. The white colour isn't too shimmery but helps your skin really catch the light.

L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow Paint | £5.99

I have this in the gold shade and its really lovely, so I picked up the Eternal white shade. I thought this would be perfect for an inner corner highlight or for a cut crease look. This creamy, shimmer formula applies smoothly with the sponge applicator and dries down to an almost matte finish. You do need a few layers for a completely opaque look but its easy to build up.

Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick | £11.00

I'm so happy Ofra is now on Beauty Bay as their highlighters are amazing and i've been wanting to try their liquid lips for a while. I have the shade Hollywood, which is a bright pop of pink with a blue under tone. The formula of these are comfortable and easy to wear and don't dry my lips out, I definitely need more shades.

Joan Collins Timeless Beauty Divine Lips | £18.00*

Yes these are admittedly an exact copy of the Charlotte Tilbury packaging but they are still a lovely lipstick and lots of pretty shades. I have the shades Suzy Star, a bright coral and Bella, a soft candy floss pink. The coral shade will definitely come into use over the summer period. The formula of these is creamy with a satin finish and keep my lips hydrated for hours.

Urban Decay Setting Spray | £10.00

I've been meaning to buy a full site version of the All Nighter spray for a while but Debenhams had the All Nighter and De Slick mini versions with 30% off so I had to order. These are my number 1 spray as they a such a light mist on your skin and keeps my makeup in place for hours. The De-Slick one is designed for oily skin and removed shine form the surface.

Illamasqua Beyond Highlighter | £32.00

This was another products on offer at Debenhams and I have been meaning to try these Illamasqua highlighters for a while. The only one they had in stock was Epic, which is a coppery, rose gold shade with an intense shimmer. The formula of this is quite powdery but applies nicely and gives a glow from within look. This shade works better for me when I have more of a tan but I definitely want to try out their new iridescent one.

Ofra Blissful Highlighter | £20.00

I have their Rodeo Drive highlighter and its one of my favourites so I had to try out this one. Blissful is more of a rose gold gold shade, compared to the gold Rodeo Drive. The formula of these is quite finely milled and so applies like butter but there is a bit of fall out. This is also only £20 compared to £25 for Rodeo drive, I am unsure why as both are the same size.

Milani Retouch & Erase Concealer | £12.00

I'd heard some really good things about this so I had to give it a go and Milani products really are amazing so of course this one would me. This has a lightweight coverage but enough to cover my dark circles and brighten my under eyes. This has a squeezey tube with a sponge at the end to apply so its handy for reapplication out and about.

Nars Soft Matte Concealer | £23.00

This has definitely been a stand out product for me and actually surprised me at how good it is. I was a little apprehensive about a pot concealer as I find they can look cakey and just don't blend in well, but this was is creamy to apply but dries down matte and doesn't at all crease under my eyes. Unfortunately the shade I matched myself too is a little too dark and I would have preferred a lighter more brightening shade.

Leighton Denny Expert Nails | £12.00*

I've had this brand of nail polishes used on me in a salon but never had my own at home before, so I was excited to try when these landed on my doorstep. I have found the formula of these to be long-lasting and chip free even after a long week at work. I have the shades Pillow Talk, a bright pinky red and Bronzed Babe, a browny mauve with a iridescent shimmer to it.

Milani Powder Blush | £12.00

These have been everywhere lately and I just had to get my hands on them, they are just so aesthetically pleasing the perfect product to photograph with the rose embossed powder. I have the shade Blossom Time Rose, it's a pink toned terracotta and something a littler different to all my other blushers. The formula of these isn't super pigmented but just enough to add a flush of colour to your cheeks.

Milani Illuminating Face Powder | £12.00

This is such a great multi-use product, I tend to favour mine as a blush but this can be used to brighten your whole face or just areas. It's such a pretty products with the tiny embossed roses in the pan in different shades of pink. I have the shade Beauty's Touch, which is as I said earlier is a selection of pinks, peaches and creams.

Milani Strobelight Instant Glow Powder | £13.00

Of course I had to get one of these amazing highlighters being the highlighter junkie I am. I'd heard a few people rave about these so I had to add one to my collection and I've not been disappointed. I have Dayglow, which is a bronzey gold with rosy undertones. The formula of these is soft and pigmented and the shimmer really catches the light.

Have you picked up any of these products recently?
