So another month is pretty much over and that means its time for another favourites post. In a way I'm kind of glad this month is over as in June I'm off to Barcelona for a few days and then i'll be seeing Adele at the end of the month so there is lots to look forward to. This months favourites is predominantly new releases but also some products I've been wanting to try for a while and have soon become obsessed with.
Primark Mermaid Glow Highlighter | £3.00
I saw this all over Insta and new I had to have it as I do love an icy white highlighter, luckily I spotted it when I popped into a Primark. This is a icy white shimmer with an iridescent reflect to it so it really pops when the sun hits it. The formula of these is quite pigmented and intense so a tiny amount is needed and the glitter can come off quite chunky.
This was the original shade I wanted when I placed my first order but it sold out too quickly so I finally ordered it when I ordered by KKW set. This is a really soft light pink shade that is pretty different to more of my other highlighters and I would say definitely more suited to pale tones. The formula of these isn't as intense as you would think but once applied to my face it really adds the most gorgeous subtle glow.
I finally tried out the Nip+Fab makeup and got one of their liquid lips as a free gift. The shade Tart is a pale pinky nude that looks really natural on the lips. The formula isn't as thick as I would expect and a couple of coats are needed. It has a matte finish but still feels comfortable on the lips.
Of course this was going to be included, you've already heard me rave about it in the above linked blog post but it deserved a mention here too. This is the perfect highlighter palette to sculpt and glow your cheeks. I went for the Pink Sands edition that is more for paler skin tones.
I have raved about the Skinny Dip lip topper lots before on my blog but this Rose Gold one it amazing and the perfect shade to add to a nude of pink lip to add sparkle and make it pop. This one is slightly darker than the Skinny Dip one and the glitter reflects are more of a bronzed gold.
Expect to see this a lot more on my blog as this is the best concealer I think I've ever tried, I've already ordered another lighter shade. The formula is creamy but still thin and lightweight when applied, however the coverage is incredible, my dark circles are instantly eliminated. This also has a matte finish meaning I don't need any setting powder and it doesn't crease for wear away.
I've been trying this out for a few days so far and I have to say I'm impressed. I actually spotted this being used on the So Cosmo TV show and it really looked like my type of mascara. The brush is thick and fluffy with lots of tiny bristles that really coat every lash and make them look volumised.
This is one I spotted all over Instagram and so had to just have. The brush is actually unlike anything I have tried, its a chubby plastic brush with bristles that twist around it. The bristles coat every last and lengthen them to give that baby doll look that the name would suggest. One good thing about these is that they come in so many colours, I'm really tempted to try out the blue one.
I got this in a set from QVC and I hadn't actually heard of this foundation but I'm definitely impressed. As the name would suggest this is full on coverage and a creamy formula that is more on the heavier side, so I will probably wear it more in winter. This also has a high water content so it doesn't look cakey or thick on the skin but also keeps my skin hydrated and comfortable throughout the day.
This is one of those cult products I had been wanting to try from MUFE for ages and I was so happy to see it for just over £17 at the IMATS. This is now one of my faves and it gives my skin the most amazing flawless finish but still feeling lightweight. I know that this was made for looking good on TV and I will probably never be able to comment on that but I can't believe how good it looks in real life and I can now see what everyone raves about.
Have you been loving any of these products too?

I really want to try out the Baby Doll mascara too - I've heard such good things about it! The Nip + Fab lipstick sounds a little disappointing, but makeup is so new to them that hopefully they'll make the formula a bit thicker in the future
