APRIL FAVOURITES

This month has been pretty busy for me and spendy with lots of new makeup added to my collection. So my favourites this month is brimming with goodies although there will be some haul posts coming soon too.

I picked this up after hearing rave reviews but kind of hoping it wouldn't as great as its just so expensive to keep buying. However, the reviews are all right this is incredible and the perfect base for my foundation. It smooths out my skin and a little bit goes a really long way and helps keep my foundation in place all day. I only have the mini bottle so I'm hoping it lasts a while as its just is pricey.

Of course I was drawn to this unicorn esque iridescent packaging but also the mascara itself  is pretty incredible. It has a fluffy tapered brush that helps coats all my lashes but giving them that feathered look. I like to use this first and then a thicker volumising mascara on top and my lashes have an amazing false lash effect.

I'd heard of people raving about these blushers that I just had to pick on up. The clay formula is soft and super pigmented. Achiote is a peachy coral shade perfect for the transition into spring. I'll definitely be picking up some shades of these.

I've been using this glow kit so much recently it just had to be mentioned in this post. For a girl who is obsessed with highlighter the formula of these is just amazing, it's so buttery and pigmented and it really shimmers in the light. This kit is a selection of pinks and bronzes and my favourites are definitely Forever Young, a pink pearl and Forever Lit, a platinum pearl.

These blushers have been a must buy for me for ages and I'm so glad i've finally got one. This mauve shade goes from soft lilac to a darker mauve pink and adds a lovely wash of colour to your cheeks. The formula of this is soft and powdery with a very slight shimmer to it.

I've been so undecided about buying this foundation for a while but finally picked it up and so far I'm impressed. It's light weight coverage but still adds enough to my skin to give a flawless look, you can build it up for a more medium coverage. The one thing I am wary about this is the cushion aspect drying out before i've finished it so I guess i'll wait and see.

Since being a massive fan of the Skinny Dip lip topper I of course had to get the Rose Gold version. These lip toppers are amazing either added on top of another lipstick or on their own. The formula is very much like a thin gloss that isn't too sticky or heavy. This Rose Gold version has a pinky nude base colour with a rose tinted shimmer.

After seeing this on the Instagram of Farah Dhukai, who actually created and loved by the like of Huda Beauty I just had to get it and was also close to ordering it from the US. However, Beauty Bay have finally stocked it and although its a little price you definitely need it. This lightweight serum is infused gold flakes to help add radiance to the skin. It also has a lovely fruity scent. I tend to apply this before my primer for a hydration boost and its also amazing at moisturising your lips before lipstick application.

When the weather starts to change my skin gets rather sensitive and this has been proven to make skin less sensitive. This moisturiser soothes my skin whilst also eliminating any dry patches. I tend to use this morning as its just the right formula before makeup application and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy.

What have been your favourites this month?

  2. I need the Jouer Rose Gold Lip Topper. It looks so pretty! Also liking the look of the NYX Ombre Blush. My blush collection is pretty much all on the mauve-y side, but I don't mind adding another to my collection!
