TACKLING DARK UNDER EYES

One of my biggest issues when it comes to makeup is tackling my dark under eyes. I have tried out a good selection of colour corrects and concealers to help combat this issue and some have impressed me and some not so much. I tend to use a colour corrector as a base to eliminate the darkness and then will add a concealer to brighten. So todays post is my selection that I have found works for me.

This is my new favourite high end concealer and possibly pips the UD one to the post. It's a medium to full coverage that is lovely and creamy to apply, I do have to set it quickly with a powder as it can crease slightly. It also contains coconut water which helps hydrate the skin as well as smell amazing.

This was one of my first colour correctors and now I have been hooked ever since. I have found the best colour to combat my dick circles is a pinky/peach colour. This Nye dark circle concealer is quite a thick consistency but that is great for helping conceal under my eyes and keep it in place all day. I tend to apply this using my fingers and then blend out with a beauty blender.

This is definitely favourite drugstore concealer and it's one I carry round with me for ease of application with the sponge. This is probably more of a thinner consistency than others in this post but its still good coverage and I also finds it doesn't crease as much. It also contains ingredients that help eliminate the puffiness of the eye and appear more awake in the morning.

I love the concealer version of this but the peach corrector is just amazing! It's the perfect shade to eliminate my dark circles but not to make my skin appear too pink. This comes in a handy tube applicator with a brush at the end. I would say this is light to medium coverage but can be built up to full coverage.

This is a massive cult product in the beauty world and I haven't heard of a person who doesn't like it. Part of the famous Naked Skin range from UD this is a full coverage concealer but feels weightless on the skin. I love this for brightening my under eyes after using a peach corrector.  It contains Japanese green tea to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and brighten my under eyes.

When I first picked this up I wasn't really sure about it and couldn't get on with it but it is now one of my favourites products in my makeup routine. This is very creamy and full coverage and the perfect base before a brightening concealer. The pink tone of it really eliminates the darkness under my eyes and the thickness of it ensures it stays in place all day. I normally apply a yellow toned concealer on top to brighten but it can be worn on its own.

What are your best products for concealing dark under eyes?
