NUDE LIP PICKS

If there was one lip colour I could wear for the rest of my life it would definitely be a nude, and I definitely own way too many. They are such an easy look to wear either for every day or added to a sultry night time look. Nude is a favourite for me as I find it really just enhances my natural lip colour and doesn't take much maintenance or reapplication throughout the day.

Maybelline Sensational Matte Lipstick in Nude Embrace | £6.99

This is a new addition to my collection but one of my faves and I've been wearing it a lot. The shade is a true cool toned caramel nude shade in a matte finish, however, with the matte finish I still find it comfortable to wear. I would actually say the formula and shade selection of these Maybelline lipsticks rival some highend brands so you need to go and check them out.

Colourpop Lippie Stix in Aquarius | $5.00

The CP lippie stix are my favourite lip product from them and I find them so easy and comfortable to wear. Aquarius is a soft pink nude shade and part of the collab with Kathleen Lights. It's in the creme formula so its rich and velvety and doesn't dry the lips out.

MAC Honeylove | £16.50

This is my no1 MAC lipstick and I've already use quite a lot of it since buying it last year. Honeylove is described as a light beige with rose and that pretty much sums it up for me, it's a soft pinky nude. This is in the matte formula but I find it to be creamy and velvety on the lips.

Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip in Chi | $6.00

Praise the lord that CP has brought back this collection with Karrueche Tran, so go and order this now!! The CP Ultra Matte Lips are some of my fave and are the exact same formula at the Kylie ones so i'd buy these if you don't want to pay Kylie's prices. The matte finish can be drying but it's wearable. Chi is described as a cool-toned nude beige and leans more to wards the brown side for me.

Huda Beauty Liquid Matte in Venus | £18.00

These is probably my favourite liquid lipstick formula, it applied like a smooth gloss and then dried matte but it doesn't dry my lips out. Venus is a soft pinky nude shade. Another selling point of these is the amazing sweet smell they have that makes it so much better and you can be sure to find one of Huda's Lip Contour to match.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in London | £5.50

I'm actually nearing the end of my tube of this so that tells you how much I like this shade. These are a liquid lipstick but more of a mousse formula that is creamy and velvety on the lips. London is a butterscotch nude shade.

Tom Ford Lipstick in Blush Nude | £40.00

So I'm slightly gutted to see these have now gone up in price! However, these are the most gorgeous and luxurious lipsticks and almost too good to use. Blush Nude is just that a very soft pale pinky nude. This has a creamy formula with a slight sheen to its finish, helping keep the lips moisturised.

Lime Crime Velvetine in Buffy | £16.00

Another of my liquid lipstick favourites that is super creamy to apply and the dries to a matte, these also have such amazing staying power. Buffy is very similar to Chi in that it is a cool toned nude beige but that one is more brown toned. I also love the adorable rose printed packaging the tubes have.
