MY CURRENT FAVOURITE SCENTS

An important part of my beauty routine and I'm sure it is for most girls is a spritz of perfume. It is usually the last part of me getting ready and signals I'm ready to leave the house for the day ahead. My perfume collection is pretty big as it's usually a present I will ask for or I stock up at the airport on duty free. When it comes to scents I tend to favour light, floral and fresh scents and I will admit a pretty bottle can sell it to me (although I do have to like the scent first).

I had been wanting the scent for ages and finally added it to my collection this Christmas when my mum got me a bottle - it had actually got to the point where I would spray it all over myself when we visited my local Jo Malone stand. Starting with the packaging and one thing I love about Jo Malone is the simple and sleek packaging that lets the scent itself do the talking. This scent is sweet but still refreshing and the perfect spring addition. It has notes of sapphire blooms, bluebell, lily of the valley and persimmon.

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Couture | £69.00

I guess this is me stuck in my teenage years but I still love the Juicy perfumes and this is actually one of three in my collection. I've included this one as it's something a little different to what I usually wear. This scent is quite rich and decadent and I find it is more suited to the winter months as it has quite a intense smell. There are notes of wild berries, honeysuckle, golden amber, caramel and vanilla. Now onto the packaging and you can see why it's a luxurious gold bottle with the signature Juicy bow on it. One thing I have to say about these bottles though is the sheer weight of them, they really aren't the best for travelling or carrying round day to day when you have the 100ml bottle.

Paco Rabanne Olympea | £75.00

I have saved the best until last and this is my favourite scent! I've already gone through my first big 80ml bottle and now have a second to thankfully move onto. The packaging of this is in the signature Paco Rabanne style and matches with their Invictus range, however, this one is made more feminine with rose gold hardware and a pale pink tint to the liquid. Now onto the scent itself, it is a mix between sensual salty vanilla but freshened up with floral notes.

What are your favourite scents?
