I did intend of getting this post up a little earlier but time just got away from me and so here it is 3 days before mothers day. However, it is perfect for those of you are still on the hunt for your perfect last minute gift for that special lady in your life. I love being able to treat my mum and even more now that I'm earning and it can be something really special. So here are the gifts that are sure to put a smile on your mum's face.
Lush is definitely one of the best gifts for someone and can be relatively inexpensive if you're on a budget. They have a range specifically for mum full of bath bombs, bubble bars and shower gels. They are all themed in pastel colours perfect for spring and covered in flowers and mum monograms. Some of my favourites are Elsie the Giraffe, Scrubee, Ups-A-Daisy and Yummy Mummy. I'd head down to you local store quick though as I'm sure this range will be gone after mothers day.
My mum still isn't a fan of strip lashes but I'm still trying to get her to try them. Some of my favourites have to be the Nouveau lashes ones as they come in so many styles that are comfortable and versatile for different occasions, they are also under £5 and so don't break the bank. You could also look at treating your mum to one of their treatments, including LVL whereby your natural lashes are lifted to look longer or SVS which is lash extensions.
My mum have actually swooned on this products herself so it may be an option for me as her gift. This luminizing powder from Dior has been everywhere lately and after spotting it on Instagram I just had to get it. It's a finely milled powder than can be lightly applied all over and just to cheek bones more intensely. It has highly concentrated illuminating pigments that catch the light beautifully and enhance your skin. I love how beautifully the comes packaged as well in a velvet pouch and a mini kabuki brush.
This is one of my mum's favourite and I'm pretty sure every other mum would love it. Jo Malone is definitely one of those luxurious treats for someone and there is the most incredible range of scents, which you can also get i candles, bath oil, body butter etc. For spring I'm loving the fresh scent of Wild Bluebell and I'm sure this would put a smile on your mum's face.
These lipsticks just ooze luxury and would be the perfect little gift for you mum to keep her looking fabulous. The CT lipsticks comes in either K.I.S.S.I.N.G or Matte Revolution, my favourite is definitely the first as it just keeps my lips so moisturised. What is also amazing about these is that there is a Hot Lips range which is lipsticks dedicated to 12 brilliant, hypnotising, incredible women, so that empowers the women who wear them.
I had quite a lot of the Laura Mercier body care for Christmas and always catch my mum sneaking some into her bath. This range is incredible and my favourite is definitely the body cremes, I always apply in the evening as they are quite thick but it melts into my skin and leaves it feeling soft and smooth. This scent is the Creme Brûlée one which is a very rich scent but again makes you smell dreamy and good enough to eat.
