Trying to keep up with a good skincare routine can often be very time consuming and there sometimes ends up being evenings when it's the last thing on my mind. This is where those dreamy products come in that look after your skin whilst you sleep. This is also the perfect opportunity to use a really intensive treatment and those thick creams that can't be used in the day, as it can work deep into your skin overnight. So here are the current products I am loving.

Dr Botanicals Advanced Purifying Overnight Masque | £79.00*

This is one of those super intense masques which does most of its work whilst you sleep. Sleep is when your skin regenerates the most so an overnight masque needs to have moisturising and repairing activities. This one contains Papaya, which is rich in vitamin c and helps regenerate skin cells, Jojoba oil enhances the skins natural elasticity and Sweet almond oil, which softens and moisturises the skin. This is a thick cream like formula so I apply a thin layer on my skin before bed, it doesn't feel heavy on the skin and melts into it quickly. When I use this I can definitely notice in the morning that my skin feels revitalised and moisturised.

Glam Glow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment | £39.00 

This is one of my favourite luxury products and my skin is just transformed everytime I use it. Glam Glow is renowned for their luxurious and intensive treatments, this one helps hydrate, moisturise, restore and replenish the skin. Its a creamy formula that can either be applied as a thick layer and then removed or as I like to do and apply a thinner layer and leave on overnight. 

Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate | £38.00

This is more of a serum/oil that cream like the others in this post and the name is very fitting as it literally helps your skin recover over night. It contains distilled botanicals such as evening primrose and lavender essential oil. I apply this after cleansing and toning my skin and the great thing about it is that it can either be left and work on its own or i'll add their Ultra Facial Cream for added hydration.

The Body Shop Drops of Youth Sleep Mask | £25.00

This overnight mask from The Body Shop refreshes the skin and also address the first signs of ageing leading to your skin appearing and feeling younger in the morning. It has a slightly weird formula in my opinion, its a bouncy gel like cream that applies to the skin and sinks in straight away adding lots of hydration. In the morning my skin feels plump and refreshed, and although at my age I would like to think I don't have too many signs of ageing but this will hopefully keep it at bay.

REN Wake Wonderful Nighttime Facial | £32.00

This is one of the most intense treatments in this post as it contains fruit acids that help remove dead skins to sooth the skin and help the regeneration of the skin cells. Its a cream formula that I apply a light layer of a few times a week, it does give a slight tingling sensation but its nothing too uncomfortable and I will then follow with a moisturiser. In the morning my skin is brighter and glowing and also feels softer and smooth.

Pixi Beauty Sleep Cream | £24.00

This is normally the last step in my evening skincare routine and I keep this by my bed to apply right before I go to sleep. I normally do this as I'll often do my evening skincare routine  a good few hours before going to sleep so this is an added extra before sleeping. Its a nutrient cream that includes mango butter, lavender, lemon and bergamot to help sooth the skin and even out the skintone.
