If there is one high end brand I love it's Charlotte Tilbury, the products and the packaging just ooze luxury and it's such a treat when you purchase a product. I bought my first CT products at the end of 2015 and haven't looked back since, there is still so many other products I want to try. I always find the counters (and now the Covent Garden store) to be such a feel good place and if you've ever been to one and seen how busy they are you'll know just how popular CT is. In this post I'll give you a run down of all the products I have tried and mention a few i'm still hoping to try.
I have recently rediscovered this after it fell to the back of my collection in the place of other new products, but it really is an incredible product and I'm so happy I'm using it again. The compact duo contains a contour shade and a highlighter shade, the contour is a universal bronze shade and the highlight is a soft golden glow. The powders are soft and finely milled and the pigmentation is just enough and can be built up if needed. One of the things that helps sell this palette is the luxurious rose gold packaging and it looks great on your dressing table.
LIPSTICKS
This is the most recent lipstick collection by CT and it's 12 lipsticks in collaboration with 'inspirational, brilliant and hypnotising' women, they are either in the Matte Revolution or K.I.S.S.I.N.G formula. The lipstick have the squared out bullet perfect for lining the lips first and then filling in for the perfect pout. The shades I have are Kim KW (after Kim Kardashian) which is a pinky nude and Nude Kate (after Kate Moss), which is more of a cool toned nude.
These are the first ever lipsticks I tried from CT and the formula is one of my favourites, it's a creamy formula for a sheen to its finish. I find them so comfortable to wear and it doesn't go patchy or flakey throughout the day, the wear time is about that of most lipsticks and you do need to reapply after eating or drinking a lot. These have a pointed tip bullet and a special blend from the Lipstick tree that soothes and hydrates lips giving a perfectly perky pout. I have two shade from this collection; Bitch Perfect, a rosy pink, and Night Crimson, a deep red wine shade.
I wasn't really a fan of this collection until I tried out the new Pillow Talk lipstick (more on that in a minute). These are all a matte finish but I still find it to be hydrating and comfortable to wear, they do contain extracts from the Lipstick Tree like the K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipsticks so this is probably why they are so comfortable. These also have the square tipped bullet for ease of application and to help create a full looking pout. The shades I have are the new Pillow Talk, a dusky nude pink, a Red Carpet Red, a traditional blue toned red.
This is another of the very first products I tried and was recommended this as being one of those lip liner shades that works with lots of nude lip colours. Lip Cheat is a velvety rich formula that glides along the edges of your lips easily and comfortably. It is also waterproof meaning that it doesn't feather out or bleed onto your skin. As I said earlier Pillow Talk is a dusky pink nude that will work so many nude lip shades.
I haven't really been disappointed by a CT product but this is one I probably wouldn't repurchase. I picked this up with high expectations but I just really couldnt get on with it or get it to work on my skin, i'm not saying it was terrible and I have tried worse but I have also tried a lot of better ones. Anyway the formula of this is light-medium, which just isn't enough for me and I found it just sat on my skin rather than blending into it. I really wanted to like all CT products but this one just doesn't hit the mark for me.
This is my most recent purchase and i'm absolutely obsessed with it, my lashes have never looked so good. It has a revolutionary elastic formula that glides along the lashes that curls and extends them, but also helps hold the curl all day. The brush is thick and fluffy so you have to be careful or it could get messy but the end look you get is worth it. Also since it contains waxes it doesn't dry your lashes or or draw out all the moisture.
What are the best Charlotte Tilbury products you have tried?

I've heard mixed things about the CT foundation so I think for me it wouldn't particularly work on my skin. I love the lipsticks and they are something I'll definitely be investing more in! Once I begin getting better at saving, I will be picking up the Filmstar Bronze and Glow because I need it in my collection so badly! xx
