PICK ME UP PRODUCTS

If you follow me on social media you would know I spent the first few days of 2017 struck down with the horrible flu/virus/cough that is going around and i've only just about recovered. during the time I was ill I didn't really do much with my hair or makeup but there was a few products that I used that helped me feel a little more human.

Soap & Glory Whipped Clean | £7.00

When I was feeling ill the last thing on my mind was making sure my body was moisturised but this product has been a life saver. The shower butter foams up so you can clean yourself with it but also contains 25% moisture oils and butters to ensure you skin is left feeling soft and moisturised. This was one of my fave products last year and so this year was top of my Christmas list, it smells divine with the scent of almond oil, shea and cocoa butter.

Lush Bath Bombs

Having a bath when your ill is a must as I think it just makes you feel a little better and relaxes your body. The perfect thing to make a bath better is a Lush Bath Bomb, not only for the fun factor but also the pampering properties they have. The two I have in this photo are from the Christmas range I believe so are no longer available but there are plenty more on the Lush website and their new Valentines range.

NUXE Reve de Miel Honey Lip Balm | £9.50

I'm not sure if it's just me but when I was ill my lips became so awful, dry and painful and I had to apply lip balm all the time. The one that really rescued my lips and kept them moisturised whilst I felt awful. This honey lip balm has a super thick formula that works amazing over night and my lips still felt moisturised in the morning. They also do this in a stick formula, which I tend to use in the day and then the thicker balm at night.

This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray | £16.00

This was a life saver when I struggled to sleep, although it didnt make me have a full nights sleep it certainly did help me fall to quicker. The spray contains an aromatherapeutic blend of Lavender, Vetivert and Camomile, which help calm both mind and body. I'm not the biggest fan of the smell of lavender so spray this on half an hour before I want to get into bed and let it soak into my pillow.

Even though I was feeling awful I tried to look after my skin as mush as possible and this gem was a lifesaver. The Pixi glow tonic exfoliates the skin by removing dead skin cells, leaving behind a brighter and glowing complexion. I use this every morning and my skin is looking so much brighter now.

I got these two products for Christmas and have been using them non-stop ever since, along with the Glow Tonic these have kept my skin looking and feeling healthy. The Midnight Recovery Concentrate really help revive my skin every night and let me wake up with brighter and younger looking skin. What I love about this facial oil is that it isn't too thick and doesn't feel heavy on my skin. Another love of mine is the Ultra Facial Cream, I apply this in the morning and even by evening my skin still felt moisturised.

What are your pick me up products?
