There is nothing I love more than a brand new lipstick and it's that little bit more special when it's from higher end brand and I treasure it that little bit more. I tend to treat myself to a lipstick from one of these brands every once in a while and have started to build a mini collection. Since these lipsticks cost £20+ I tend to stick to shades I know i'll wear a lot so you'll see a theme of pinky nudes in this post.

YSL Rouge Volumpte Shine | £26.00

This was the first real high end lipstick I owned and I have the say I think the packaging was a real draw for me, the gold hardware with the YSL embossed around the middle just adds luxury to the tube. This is more of a balm than a lipstick so perfect for the winter months when my lips suffer but I still want to wear some colour. I have the shade Nude in Private #9, which is a rosy pink shade and one of those your lips but better shades. This lipstick also had a sweet peach scent that I just love but I can see others hating it.

Dior Rouge Baume | £26.00

This one was a gift from my mum from her trip to Barcelona, she tends to buy me a high end lipstick every time she goes on a trip so a few in the post have been bough by her. Like the YSL one this is another balm but I have found it has much less of a sheen to it and more of a satin finish. This is the shade Milly #640, which is again another nude pink shade but slightly lighter than the YSL one.

Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips | £23.00 | post

For me these lipsticks just ooze luxury with the rose gold packaging and all being named after powerful women. The Hot Lips collection by CT is a range of lipsticks in collaboration with 12 incredible and brilliant women, this one is dedicated to Kate Moss and is the perfect rockstar nude. I have found this is the perfect everyday nude shade and the formula is rich and creamy keeping your lips moisturised.

Chanel Rouge Allure Ink Liquid Lip | £26.00

I have a few different Chanel lipsticks but I went for this one in this post as it's a favourite of mine recently. These are a new release by Chanel this year and fit perfectly in with the growing trend of liquid lipsticks. The formula of these is thin and watery but it also means they aren't too heavy on the lips or drying. I have the shade Amoureux, which is a mauve pink.

Tom Ford Lip Colour | £39.00

This was such a surprise when I found it in my stocking this christmas but so lovely at the same time, my mum knew i'd been wanting one of these lippies for a while and got it right with this nude shade. Blush Nude is a soft muted pink nude with a satin finish. The lipstick contains soja seed extract, Brazilian murumuru butter and chamomilla flower oil to create the most creamy formula that glides onto the lips easily and keeps the lips hydrated.
