EVERYDAY LIP WARDROBE

When it comes to my day-to-day makeup I tend to favour balms over lipstick as I suffer with bad dry lips and wearing lipstick all day does me no favours. However, I do still have a selection that I will reach for everyday for work or just a quiet weekend. I tend to favour pinks and nudes, which you'll see when I get into the shades as they are just so versatile, go with everything and don't seem like too much for a trip to the supermarket.

ColourPop Lippie Stix in Aquarius | $5.00 | post 

This is one of my favourite formulas of the Lippie Stix as it just glides on so easily and is comfortable to wear but still with a matte look, I just wish there were more shades in this finish as there is only two others in a creme formula. I have the shade Aquarius, which is described as a soft pinky nude. It's part of the collection with Kathleen Lights so I imagine it wont be around forever, but it is such a lovely shade and formula.

Maybelline Color Drama Lipstick in Nude Perfection | £4.99

This is my fail safe handbag lipstick that I carry round with me as its the perfect everyday shade and so easy to apply when out and about. The pencil style applicator means you can line the edges of your lips perfectly but it's also thick enough to fill in the rest of your lips. Nude Perfection is a caramel nude shade.

Chanel Rouge Allure Liquid Lip in Amoureux | £26.00

I have realised I mention this a lot but it's one of my favourite lip colours recently! The new liquid lipsticks by Chanel is a light formula than gives the lips a thin coat of colour but lasts for ages too. Amoureux is a mauve pink shade and one of those your lips but better shade.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bow N Arrow | £16.00 | post 

It was a tough choice between Lolita and Bow N Arrow from KVD to include in this post as I wear them equally, but Bow N Arrow just pipped Lolita to the post. The formula is thick but smooth and creamy and glides onto the lips easily with a matte finish. The tube itself is long and thin so perfect for throwing into a clutch bag on a night out and not taking up too much room.

Huda Beauty Liquid Matte in Venus | £18.00 | post

As soon as I heard Huda Beauty was releasing a liquid lipstick range I was so excited and ordered a few shades as soon as they were available in the UK. I obviously when for the more wearable neutral shades from the selection and Venus was top of my list, it's a deep taupe brown shade. The formula of these is so comfortable to wear and almost moisturising but with a matte finish also.

CT Lipsticks are some of my absolute favourites and these Hot Lips ones are so nice to wear. This one dedicated to Kim Kardashian is a lovely soft pink shade and inspired by vintage makeup looks. These lipsticks are creamy with a luminous finish and help make the lips appear fuller. 

MAC Lipsticks | £15.50

Of course I had to include some MAC lipsticks in this line up and MAC really are the front runners in lipsticks with so many shades and finishes to choose from. My two favourites are some of their more muted shades but still lovely. Honeylove is cool nude beige in a matte finish, but I don't find this as drying as I find their other matte lipsticks. Brave is more of a pinky rose nude in a satin finish, so has a sheen to its finish and moisturises the lips as well.
