ABH EYESHADOWS | BLACK FRIDAY HAUL

So here is my final black friday sale haul and probably my favourite order I managed to make. Some of my favourite eyeshadow palettes are the ABH Modern Renaissance and Master Palette by Mario, so I jumped at the chance to order some singles when they had their black Friday sale. ABH had one of the best sales I'd seen with up to 60% of so many of their products, including brow products, glow kits, contour kits and eyeshadows.

Their eyeshadows were one of the ones with 60% off, making them just under $5 each (down from $12). The only issue was the ordering from American with the postage being almost $20 and I just knew I would get customs fees, although I thought I had gotten away with the fee until it arrived about a week later - thanks FedEx for the £26 charge!!

The sale went live at 12am US time so I was really sad an actually set my alarm for 5am so I could get what I wanted. Unfortunately I couldn't even get on the website and so back to sleep I went. I managed to get on the website a few hours later to find some were still in stock (not the ones I had already put in my basket though), so I added all I knew i'd wear to my basket. The good thing about ABH is that they also give you a 4 or 8 well palette depending on how many you buy so I got the palette free as well.

Now onto the actual shadows and shades, I went for all neutral shades as I knew i'd wear them and they would work with the other single eyeshadows I have. Here are the shades I picked up...

Lace - a soft antique cream in a matte finish but there is a slight sheen to it

Gem - a soft peachy brown in a satin finish

Party Dress - a radiant golden peach

Amber - a rich bronzey gold shade

Comfort - a dark antique copper shade

Truffle - a warm medium brown with a shimmer running though it

Chocolate Crumble - a smokey brown with a shimmer

Chai - a satin bronzey brown

Chiffon - a deep antique gold shade

Brownie - a chocolate brown with gold shimmer

Gold Bar - a cool yellow shimmery gold

The formula of these is finely milled powder so they are buttery and soft and apply like a dream. They are richly pigmented and a minimal amount is needed on you brush to make an impact and they blend out so well.

Have any of you tried ABH eyeshadows? What shades do you recommend?
