I've been back from Barcelona for almost two weeks now and I still can't get over how amazing it was. Me and my mum headed there for 4 days as my graduation present and I couldn't have picked a better place, we had great weather and I just loved the city itself. I would definitely recommend it as there is so much to see, do and it also has pretty great shopping.

I love lipstick and I own way too many but for everyday use I stick to a really natural shade that just enhances my natural lip colour. This post is a selection of those shades in lipstick and liquid lipstick formula although for everyday use I like to favour a moisturising formula as my lips can get so dry. Here are my your lips but better picks.

I am so happy that these brands are now available so easy in the UK now and there is no trying to find it on eBay or the dreaded customs fees. Milani and LA Girl for me are fun brands with great products at affordable prices and you can find them in the UK on the likes of Beauty Bay and the also have their own UK websites now, where I'm sure some of the products are slightly cheaper.

When my mum gave me the option of a city break as my graduation present Barcelona was a choice of mine for the sun and sights but I also knew they had quite a few Sephoras there and a haul is always in order. We actually went to their main one at the top of La Rambla but it was under construction so we headed to another smaller store. I have to say now the UK has a lot more makeup brands available the Sephora in Barcelona didn't have any makeup brands that I couldn't already get, so I did a bit of a mini haul of skincare bits I knew wouldn't be that easy to get in the UK.

I made yet another Colourpop order not so long ago as they had 20% off everything and I needed some more of their amazing eyeshadows pans in my life! I didn't go too overboard this time and steered clear of their liquid lipsticks as I just have so many already. Although I was not impressed with the time it took them to dispatch my order, I think it was almost 2 weeks from placing the order to it finally being dispatched and then I got the dreaded customs!

As your reading this I'm currently in Barcelona and I will be using some of these summer blusher picks whilst out there. As seasons change my makeup changes too and blusher is one of the main products that I do change to fit the time of year. For summer I'm all about tanned skin, golden highlight and a hint of blush and my favourite shades are corals and pinks to just add a flush of colour.

If some of you follow me on Twitter and Instagram you'll know that I headed to the IMATS a few weeks ago now and for those of you that don't know what that is, it's the International Makeup-Artist Trade Show. It tours around the world and is in London at Olympia once a year, I have been wanting to go for a while so had to take myself off there this year. The tickets are around £30-40 so may be seen as a pricey day with travelling if you don't live in London but the discounts were worth it to me and I will be heading there again next year.

Until a few months ago the only products I had tried from Becca was the highlighters and blushers and as I mentioned in a previous post (here), I had been wanting to try out more Becca products for a while so I have been picking up lots of bits of the past few months. For me Becca is all about glowing and radiant skin and that is exactly what some of these products do.

Hi I'm Samantha and I'm a Tarte makeup addict! Today I have a mini haul for you after I placed an order when Tarte had 7 items for £50 (yes I know there are only 6 here but i'll explain later), and I had to place an order. One thing I love about is like Sephora you can pay tax when ordering so you don't have that stupid Royal Mail handling fee. Their delivery is also pretty quick as it doesn't get held up in customs.

So another month is pretty much over and that means its time for another favourites post. In a way I'm kind of glad this month is over as in June I'm off to Barcelona for a few days and then i'll be seeing Adele at the end of the month so there is lots to look forward to. This months favourites is predominantly new releases but also some products I've been wanting to try for a while and have soon become obsessed with.

If you follow me on Twitter you might have seen me mention that I'm off to Barcelona a week today and I couldn't be more excited. I did say at the beginning of the year I wanted to go on some more city breaks this year and Barcelona was top of my list, also since it has a beach its kind of a mini holiday as I'm not going on a beach holiday this year until the end of September. For me a city break makeup bag is so tough as I own so much makeup its hard to narrow down

I really wish Kylie would stop bringing out killer products as the customs charges are just a nightmare. I had actually been waiting for a Kim and Kylie collab for a while and was expected it to be just be another shade in her matte formula but I was excited to see this new creme liquid lip as that is actually what I'm leaning more towards lately.

Hallelujah the warm weather is finally here, I hope it means summer is here to stay now. If there is one product I find is very seasonal that is nail polish and the summer is all about bright pops of colour and especially those shades that can enhance a tan. I am also heading to Barcelona in a few weeks so I will definitely be picking one of these shades as my holiday nails.

For me priming is a key part of my makeup routine, and yes I know people say moisturising is just as good as using a primer. But I just feel like my makeup stays in place so much better and doesn't end up patchy. My skin is combination and changes due to the weather so I have lots of different formulas so I can switch it up due to my skin on the day. So here are my favourites.

It's been a good month or so now since my last fashion type post so I thought another was due. I'm actually really enjoying these type of wishlist posts as one of my favourite things to do is browse clothes shops online and dream of all the pretty clothes I can buy. Todays is a summer wishlist since we are almost in June and it's time to switch up my wardrobe. Im also heading to Barcelona soon and Mexico in september so i'll need to stock up my holiday waredrobe.

If you read my blog a lot you'll know a nude lip is my number one go to lip shade but I do like to throw in a bright pop of colour sometimes. If I'm not wearing a nude a pink will be my next go to so I thought a blog post was due. This post is mainly pinks but there is some other similar sort of shades thrown in too.

Now that summer is almost here and the weather is finally warming up (although it is raining as I write this), I thought it was time to talk through some of my favourite lightweight foundations. Just because these are lightweight does not mean they are a minimal coverage, because if you read my blog you'll know that I'm all about a good amount of coverage.

If there is one thing I own way too many of it's makeup brushes, however, in my opinion you can never have too many as there are so many different types for different uses. Out of my massive collection I do have some favourites though and these are the ones I use everyday without a doubt. My collection consists of lots of brushes from the likes of Morphe and Zoeva so expect to see these in this post.

It definitely made my week this week when I got the email from Cult Beauty to say this was now available. Huda Beauty is definitely one of my favourite Youtubers and all of her makeup I had tried so far has been a huge hit for me, and being a highlighter addict I knew I had to have this. Huda's makeup always looks so flawless in my opinion and anything that will help me even look a fraction like her I'm all over it.

I say this all the time but there is nothing better than a highlighter and I think its one of the main products I couldn't leave the house without. Over the past few weeks I have expanded my collection quite considerable so I thought a post was deserving, although as I write this I has a few more on the way to me or have arrived - as my mum says I'm a highlighter addict.

Over the past few weeks I have picked up or kindly been sent quite a lot of new beauty products, and whilst some of them will have either already been featured on my blog or will be soon I thought a post on them all was deserving. Some of these have been very recently released and some are ones i'm only just discovering.

TOP 10 UNDER £10

I love high end makeup and there is nothing better than splurging on a lovely piece of makeup and enjoy using it. However, there are so many affordable and amazing products out there that I thought this post was deserving. All of these products are going to be under £10 and most can be found in shops on your local high street.

Primark have been killing it recently with all of their beauty releases and some would even rival some very established beauty brands. So of course I have been picking up quite a few bits over the last few weeks. I will have to say though you do have to hunt to find these pieces, my local store rarely gets any of these great bits so I've been stopping by every Primark I pass.

Tarte have definitely exploded in the makeup scene recently in my opinion, and especially now that they are stocked on QVC and easily accessible in the UK. They also had 30% off quite a lot of products a few weeks back on their website so I of course placed an order. They then added the Maneater collection to QVC and it had an incredible offer so of course I had to order it, also thanks to Kasie from Kasie Beauty for reminding me of it becoming available. So here is my haul between the two order.

This month has been pretty busy for me and spendy with lots of new makeup added to my collection. So my favourites this month is brimming with goodies although there will be some haul posts coming soon too.

So I posted a review The Ordinary products not so long ago (here), however, I have expanded my collection quite considerably since then so I thought another post was deserving. This brand has taken the beauty world by storm and pretty much everyone has tried and tested the products, their new foundation even has a waiting list of around 75,000 i've heard. Anyway as I said before these are affordable skincare items that let the ingredients do the talking and don't make ridiculous promises.

For today's post I thought I would talk about one of my favourite quick fix skincare products - the sheet mask. These has taken the beauty world by storm over the past year and everyone seems to bringing out their own version of it. I actually remember trying my first ever one from Sephora and laughing about how much of an idiot I look but now everyone seems to be using these.

I hadn't done one of these posts in a while so I thought a current face of the day was long over due. Being a makeup addict means I have a pretty hefty collection so most days I will switch up the products I use, but there are still some firm favourites. I also switch my makeup up according to seasons so of course this collection is more tailored towards spring/summer.

I thought it was time I did another one in my series of 'If I could only own 5 of...' This time it is the turn of blushers and I have to say for me they aren't my favourite or key part of my makeup routine but I still love to use them. Whilst I don't find that a blusher adds loads to my makeup look it's still a nice addition and adds a lovely flush of colour to my cheeks.

This post would definitely be more suited to the winter but even with the weather getting warmer my skin is still suffering slightly. My skin tends to be oily on my nose and forehead but then ill get dry patches around my nose and also recently on my eyelids (don't ask me how or why!). For my eyelids I did have to go to the doctors again and get a steroid cream but the products in this post did help minimise the dryness.

With the seasons changing not only will I change up the makeup I wear everyday but also the products I carry around in my handbag to top up my makeup. As much as i'd love my makeup to last all day without tough ups it's pretty inevitable that it's going to need topping up. This post also gave me the opportunity to feature this amazing Mango bag, I've been obsessed with since I got it.

This month has been a pretty spendy one for me, although it was bonus month so I guess that is acceptable?! Since I did have a bit of extra cash I decided to go ahead and pick up some more expensive products that I had been lusting over instead of getting spending in Boots or Superdrug like I usually would. There was also a good Space NK offer (£15 off £60), which might have led me to placing two orders.

Hi, I'm Samantha and I'm a self confessed highlighter addict! For me these Anastasia Beverly Hills ones are some of the best out there and will forever be my favourites. I now have 3 in my collection so I thought they were deserving of a whole post about them. Also these are now a lot more available in the UK thanks to the ABH UK website.

Over the past few months I have amassed a pretty big collection of Colourpop lip products - this is also excluding the numerous Lippie Stix I have. If you haven't heard of Colourpop before (which is very unlikely), they are a fun US brand that is know for their liquid lipsticks, eyeshadows and highlighters which are all incredible quality at a seriously affordable price point. They have also in recent months started shipping directly to the UK meaning it is now a lot easier for us brits to access the products, minus the hefty customs charges of course.

As soon as I heard that Kylie Jenner was bringing out a range of highlighters (or Kylighters) I got a little excited and knew I had to order some. I always said I wasn't going to keep ordering from her website because of the customs charges but I'm a highlighter addict and couldn't resist these. I luckily somehow managed to snag two on the first day they were available and managed to order without too much issue.

If there is one piece of makeup you can really vary by season that is lipsticks. For me winter is all about berry reds, summer is about bright pinks/oranges, autumn is subtle nudes/brown and spring is rosy pinks. Since spring is now well and truly here, the clocks have gone forward meaning lighter evenings and it is starting to warm up I thought it was time to talk about the lip shades I will be wearing this season.

This month I have been trialling quite a few different products so I thought it was only worthy of a whole post on them. Most of these I have been trying for a weeks now so I can't give some sort of opinion but for skincare and body care I like to test for a while before giving an honest opinion, so expect these to be featured again later on. So here is what I have been trialling.

If there is one thing I don't mine splurging on that is eyeshadow palettes. One of the main reasons is that you would usually get 12+ eyeshadows for around £30-40, which is great when you normally pay £5+ for a single eyeshadow. However, as much as I don't mind spending that little bit extra on a high end palette there are some really great, affordable palettes out there. So today I'm bringing you some of my favourites all for under £20.

I posted my first fashion post a few weeks ago now (here) and actually really enjoyed writing it. As much as my blog would suggest my biggest problem is buying makeup but clothes definitely come a close second, and online shopping is my downfall as you can do it anytime and anywhere. In my last post I mentioned ASOS as being my favourite online shop but I also buy a hell of a lot of stuff from MissGuided.

So another month is over and that means it's time for another favourites post. I say this every month but this year is going so quick, although I am glad for the warmer weather coming up and the fact that holiday season starts - me and my boyfriend have just booked one for September and I am so excited. Anyway this months favourites is a mixture of makeup and skincare and most of it is new products I have picked up over the month.

So it's been almost a year since I finished university and 5 whole years since I applied, I'm getting all nostaligic lately after seeing my Facebook statues of my applications being accepted. I thought it was a good time to write this post as I know a lot of people will be heading off to uni in September and I definitely wish i'd more about other peoples experiences before heading off to Bournemouth.

As soon as I found out Colourpop were bringing out a collection of eyeshadow pans I knew I had to try them! I have a bit of a thing for single eyeshadows and being able to choose exactly what shades I want but they are just getting so damn expensive from the likes of MUG, MAC and ABH. These CP ones are so affordable at $5 each, obviously plus the customs charge - can they just make their products more accessible in the UK please?!

You definitely need to be living under a rock to not have heard of this amazing new skincare brand. The Ordinary comes from Deciem who bill themselves as the Abnormal Beauty Company who have a number of different ranges from different price points. The Ordinary is one of their more affordable ranges and brings to you fuss free skincare that keeps it simple and talks about its key ingredients instead of the magical things it 'could' do to you skin. The range is super affordable with the most expensive products around £12 but still brings the ingredients that most other companies would charge a fortune for.

I did intend of getting this post up a little earlier but time just got away from me and so here it is 3 days before mothers day. However, it is perfect for those of you are still on the hunt for your perfect last minute gift for that special lady in your life. I love being able to treat my mum and even more now that I'm earning and it can be something really special. So here are the gifts that are sure to put a smile on your mum's face.

So it seems that spring is finally here and the weather is getting warmer, that also means Easter is nearing and I can't wait for that four day weekend! On the subject of Easter and Spring that also means its acceptable to start wearing pastels again and the way I love to do that is through my nails. I find the best way to experiment with colours I through my nails as it isn't too over the top but still very much noticeable and can tie a whole outfit together. So here are my pastel nail picks.

Trying to keep up with a good skincare routine can often be very time consuming and there sometimes ends up being evenings when it's the last thing on my mind. This is where those dreamy products come in that look after your skin whilst you sleep. This is also the perfect opportunity to use a really intensive treatment and those thick creams that can't be used in the day, as it can work deep into your skin overnight. So here are the current products I am loving.

Working a full time job often means I don't have as long as I would like to do my makeup in the morning, because of this I have developed myself a little routine to help ensure my makeup looks good enough to leave the house but I'm not late for work. Being a makeup lover means I don't think i'll ever be able to do a 'simple' makeup look and my work day look still includes a shocking 12 products!

One of my biggest issues when it comes to makeup is tackling my dark under eyes. I have tried out a good selection of colour corrects and concealers to help combat this issue and some have impressed me and some not so much. I tend to use a colour corrector as a base to eliminate the darkness and then will add a concealer to brighten. So todays post is my selection that I have found works for me.

If there was one lip colour I could wear for the rest of my life it would definitely be a nude, and I definitely own way too many. They are such an easy look to wear either for every day or added to a sultry night time look. Nude is a favourite for me as I find it really just enhances my natural lip colour and doesn't take much maintenance or reapplication throughout the day.

I feel like its been a good couple of months since I last did an update of my skincare favourites so I thought it was due. I tend to mix up my skincare routine most days, just because I have quite a collection and I need to make use of it all. As i've mentioned before I have combination skin that does change with the weather, so currently its more on the dry side. However, I am quite lucky in the fact I rarely get blemishes. Anyway here are the products I am loving at the moment.
