So this is the next one in my serious of 'I could only own 5 of...' and today is all about eyeshadow palettes. Although effectively in this selection you have 5 palettes but all are packed full of shadows I still found it so hard and there are a lot of other ones I wish I could have included. I decided to go for 5 palettes that were relatively different to suit all the needs I would have if in reality I could only have these 5.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Master Palette by Mario | $45.00
I've included this one as its one of the main ones I am using lately and has the most perfect selection of shades. The collaboration with Mario Dedivanovic sold out within hours and I don't believe it is coming back at all. The shades are all jewel toned in either a matte or shimmer finish. Most of the shades are neutral toned golds, browns and champagnes with the addition of a more vibrant green and blue. If you haven't tried the ABH shadows you need to they are so pigmented, rich and blend perfectly with very little fall out.
Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette | £42.00
This one is included for the vibrant shade selection as its always handy to have these colours. Whilst I definitely wont be wearing them from day to day a brightly coloured eye look can really look amazing on a night out. The Urban Decay shadows are quite a chalky formula so you do get quite a bit of fall out but really pigmented. Like the Mario palette this is a selection of jewel tones but these are lot brighter with the addition of a few neutral shades.
Kat Van D Shade & Light Eyeshadow Palette | £36.00
Another new addition to my collection and its one of those palettes you need in your collection. It's an all matte shade selection all designed to shade or lighten certain areas of your eyes. There is 12 eyeshadows in 3 sections, where each selection has 4 shades that compliment and work together for a certain look. The formula of these is more powdery than buttery so like the UD ones there is fall out but they shadows build up really well and blend together perfectly.
Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette | £38.50
This is an old favourite of mine and I used it all the time before so many other palettes came into my life. However, it's still a dreamy palette and one that I always use every so often. The shade selection is slightly different to the rest of nudes/browns in this post, its a selection of rose golds, pinks and taupes. They are all in either a matte or shimmer finish and like I shade earlier the UD eyeshadows are amazingly pigmented but you do get some fall out.
Morphe 35OM | £21.95
I had to include one of my Morphe 35 shade palettes as they are such good value for money. The 35O is the most popular and famous of the lot and sold out everywhere all the time it seems, since I couldnt get hold of that one I have both the matte and shimmer version (review here). My favourite is definitely the matte version and is the perfect selection of nudes, oranges, reds and browns. The Morphe shadows are soft and velvety and some of the most pigmented i've tried. With 35 shades you will always have some that are duds and some that are very similar but there is still a lot in this palette I use!

Are any of these palettes your favourites?

Great picks! It would be difficult to narrow down to only 5 palettes but I'd have to have a Natasha Denona in there, as well at the KVD & Mario palettes you have here! xx

I love Morphe palettes too, the morphe 35T would be in my top 5 for sure along with Naked3!

I would love to own the Morphe palette- I'm currently on the waiting list on Cult Beauty:) I'd also add the original Naked palette- mine has more wear and tear than any other palette I have, I love it!

I do love my UD Naked 3 palette but I feel like for me I love looking at it more than I do using it haha! I don't think I've perfected how to get the most pigmentation from it yet x
