Recently I have expanded my foundation collection quite a bit and even needed new storage. So today I thought I would bring to you a review of the new ones I have tried out and what have been my favourites. For me foundation needs to be a medium coverage that evens out my skin tone with a satin finish (I don't mind matte as long as it isn't too drying). This is a mix between drugstore and high end and whilst in my opinion high end will always win with foundation drugstore is catching up and there are some nice ones out there lately.
This is one of those cult foundations that everyone seems to love but I just took forever to actually add it to my collection. I think the main reason was the name, Sheer just made me think it wouldn't be very good coverage but I read a few reviews and took the plunge and bought it and I have to say its now one of my favourite foundations. I would say this is a medium coverage with a satin finish, and I'm glad to say it isn't too sheer and covers all of my imperfections. I also find that this hydrates my skin and keeps it moisturised for a smoother looking complexion.
In my opinion this is one of those affordable foundations that could easily be high end. This is a full coverage foundation and a very similar style to the EL Double Wear in that they both have a full matte finish coverage and really great staying power. I would definitely say if you love double wear but don't want to pay the £30 price tag then go for this one. I did make the big mistake of ordering this online and having to guess my shade, I for medium beige which is admittedly a little dark for me but I can make it work.
Unfortunately this is one of those beauty products that isn't available in the UK and I got mine from Target in a US order. I have the matte + powerless version, which is available in the UK, so I wanted to see how this one compared. They both have a light to medium coverage which can be built up depending on the look you want. As the name suggests this has a glowing, dewy finish that really helps your skin radiate with a flawless finish.
I picked this up as I'd ran out of my beloved Double Wear, it was on offer at Bicester Village and they didn't have my shade in DW so I went for the light version. Although this is billed as being light I would still say its a medium coverage that can be built up to be full, with a matte finish but not drying at all. This is definitely more comfortable for day-time wear than the Double Wear is. I went for shade 2 and that is pretty much a perfect match for my light-medium skin tone.
I picked up this up as I was looking for a lightweight foundation that still covered all my imperfections and felt like I was wearing foundation (yes if I am wearing foundation I want to be able to tell I am)! This is quite a watery foundation so a little covers a lot and it blends out really easily. The finish is kind of demi matte but you still get a glowing radiant finish. This comes with a pipette applicator, which i've never had with a foundation and I have to say I would have preferred a pump.
Apologies but another that isn't available in the UK and i've been told it wont be soon, so looks like I will be ordering from the US from now on. This is the glowing sister to the Infallible Matte and I actually prefer this one I think. It is actually very similar to the Nars sheer glow in that its a medium coverage but can be built to a full coverage. I find its a natural finish that just helps my skin radiate but not look too shiny or oily. The packaging is a handy tube so isn't too heavy (perfect for taking away or out and about) and you know you'll be able to get all of the product out.
I picked this up in the same order and the other two US foundations as I'd hear so many Youtubers and bloggers rave about the US version being so much better than the version we have here in the UK. I can definitely confirm that is true and this is 10x better than the UK version in formula. Although this is still matte I find that its creamier than the UK version and blends easily into my skin without feeling dry or cakey like the UK one. This still seems to have a slight radiance to it and allows the skin to glow, whereas I find the UK version makes my skin look flat and almost lifeless.
Have any of you tried out these foundations?

The only one of these foundations I've tried is the Nars one and I want too keen, might look in to some of these other ones you've tried though. x

I love the Estee Lauder double wear and the light one sounds perfect for everyday wear and for the summer time. The Tarte foundation is another one that sounds really really nice that I would love to try. x

Sheer Glows one of my favourites, I've recently run out of it and it's made me realise how much I really do love it! I've also been wanting to try the Estee Lauder Double Wear Light for a while now as I found DW a bit too heavy for me, and the L'Oreal ones are sat at top of my shopping list when I got to America next year! xo

I'm definitely tempted by that Milani foundation- Revlon ColourStay might be my all-time favourite foundation, so I'm definitely open to being wowed by a drugstore option! I should also give Double Wear Light another go- sounds like a perfect base for this time of year :)
