FACIAL MISTS

Recently my collection of facial sprays has just grown, I think without even realising i've picked up lots of new ones. However, this time of year they are a savour. Obviously once my makeup has been applied I can't add a moisturiser, this is where a facial spray/mist comes in. It adds moisture to your skin but doesn't smudge or remove any makeup.

This is cult product in the beauty world and one of Victoria Beckhams favourites for adding a glow to her makeup. It contains Grape, orange blossom, rose, organic balm mint and rosemary, which combine to tighten the pores and add radiance to the skin. I tend to use mine after completing my makeup for radiance and to also seal everything in place.

I have to say before being informed of this brand I had never heard of. This contains monatomic, diatomic and nanoclusters of pure gold, pure platinum and pure zinc to help rejuvenate the skin cells and defy the signs of ageing. Being 23 I like to think I have very little signs of ageing yet so I can't comment on whether I feel younger but preventing ageing can't help! This is best applied before any other product so it can be absorbed straight

I'm already a big fan of the Vitamin C moisturiser from the Body Shop and this is it in a bottle to be sprayed on your face whenever you want. The Vitamin C range is designed for dull and tired skin and adds life to it. This is a product I like to carry round with me and apply throughout the day to hydrate my skin and energize myself for the rest of the day.

This was one of my go to sprays during the warmer months to cool my skin down. The Avene thermal spring water is known to naturally sooth the skin and stop irritations. This is in an aerosol so more of a mist on your face than drops of water as a spray, which makes it feel lot nicer on your skin. This is one of those that you can spray all over your body so if I ever have dry or irritated skin on my body i'll spray there too.

This one is a new addition to my skincare collection and one of those blogger induced buys after reading it on a few different blogs. This spray contains a combination of herbal extracts and rosewater to hydrate and refresh the skin. I have been using this one before my makeup application and after moisturiser and you can really feel it working on your skin as soon as you spray it, it almost had a tingling sensation.

I guess this one falls under setting spray and facial mist as it has both uses. I tend to spray as a primer for my makeup and for added hydration, it contains a mix of minerals and vitamins with green tea, camomile and cucumber to also sooth the skin. I find with this you can feel the moisture from it straight away and it instantly cools your skin.

Have any of you tried any of these facial mists?!

  1. I cannot even tell you how many bottles of the Avene Thermal Water Spray I used during the summer! I even keep it in my fridge and when you spray it, the feeling is amazing and extra refreshing! x

  2. The Mario Badescu one sounds lush! I thought it was more expensive than that but I can definitely justify a sneaky purchase!

  5. Am yet to try a facial mist, I use setting sprays, but as someone with dry skin I definitely should be trying more of them out! I didn't get on with the Bodyshop range initially as I had a bad reaction but definitely will be looking into the others :) xx

  6. I've never got on too well with the Mac Fix+; I don't know if it's just my skin type but it just doesn't sit right over my makeup. I'm definitely going to try using it as a primer instead!

  8. I love Mario Badescu's Facial Spray SO much! I use it after purifying face masks to help soothe and calm my skin. Also love Beauty Elixir - I keep it on my desk and spritz it around 3pm every day to wake myself up! Really intrigued by the Body Shop one - my skin gets so dull in the winter, that could be a great addition to my skincare routine!

  9. I have always been a little skeptical about facial mists, i mean wetting your face after spending nearly an hour perfecting it scares me a little x
