US BEAUTY HAUL

A couple of weeks ago I placed a few orders of brands that are more accessible in the US and got them sent to be using a mail forwarding service. I do find it so annoying that American gets so many amazing brands and products that the UK just don't get. If you're after a few different items from the US but they either don't deliver to the UK or the postage is ridiculously expensive then i'd definitely recommend using a mail forwarding service. This was supposed to be a Colourpop haul but I have a few others bits I thought i'd throw all into one post.

COLOURPOP

I bought this one after seeing the new metallic range from CP and this one looked like a colour I would wear the most. Salt is a shimmery cool toned taupe. The formula of these is quite thick and creamy and coats the lips really well in one swipe. This is definitely one of the more out there liquid lipstick shades I have as you can't really rock a metallic lip all the time but this will be great for the christmas season coming up.

I picked up a few of these in a big order as there was 20% off them and I don't really have many glosses in my collection. The shades I got were Saddle Up, a tangerine orange, Weho, a creamy beige, and My Jam, a warm shimmery nude. I was excited to try these and see if they were similar to the Kylie glosses like the matte liquid lipsticks are similar. The formula of these are thick like the Kylie ones but not quite as opaque.

I picked up another matte liquid lipstick when I was ordering as I was drawn to this shade. Chi is a cool toned nude beige and part of the collab with Karrueche Tran. I have said this before but the matte finish is quite drying and I do prefer the satin, but i've still been wearing this shade a lot.

I have quite a lot of these in my post as they were on offer and they are some of my favourite type of lipstick so I stocked up with 20% off. I got 5 shades, 4 with a matte finish (Pillow Talk, a mid-tone greige, Bootie, true orange red, Cami, mauve pink, Topless, neon coral) and a Aquarius, a mauve pink in a creme finish. I love the shade of these lipsticks for application and they give such a clean line around the edge of the lips. I'll definitely be picking up some more of these and in the creme formula as i've been loving that.

The CP highlighters are such an unusual formula I picked up this one as it was a more 'me' shade. Spoon is a light silver champagne shade. I apply this using my fingers as I find it blends much better into my skin.

After using the highlighters and really liking them I decided to pick up one of the bronzers in the hope I would love it too. I have the shade Carry on, which is a soft bronze in a matte finish and I've been loving the shade and how it works with my skin tone. Like the highlighters this is a creamy powder like formula and can be apply either with a brush or your fingers.

Like the bronzer I wanted to try the blushes as well as I liked the formula. I got the shades Aphrodisiac, a soft beige brown, and Between the Sheets, a mid tone beige pink. I think these two shades are going to be really lovely for the winter time. I apply these using a brush and it adds a flush of colour to my cheeks without looking like a clown.

When I saw this launch a few months ago I knew it would be something i'd love and had to have. I waited a few weeks to see if it would launch in the UK but not such luck, so I ended up ordering from the ABH website. The glow kits comes in a candy floss pink case giving it that sweet feel already. There are 4 shades, all in honour of American sweets; Marshmallow, a intense pearl, Sassy Grape, a lavender with shimmer, Butterscotch, a shimmery gold, and Taffy, a fusion of pink and peach.

Yes I know this is a french brand but their website is American and thats where they delivery to. I ordered this after seeing it in a couple of YouTube videos and falling in love with it, it is sold in the UK on Cult Beauty but at the time they didn't have any in stock and I didn't want to wait! Skinny Dip is a glossy formula that can be worn on its own or on top of a lipstick for an added shimmer. The shade is shimmering gold nude, and so perfect for putting on top of most shades.

POSTAGE

I used the the mailing service MyMallBox, as I liked the fact that you could order multiple packages to be delivered there and then consolidated into one package and sent to you in the UK. I had my parcels delivered over the course of a week and the company will hold them for you for free for up to 90 days if you're waiting for a few. Once they have all arrived you just ask for them all to be repacked as one and pick your shipping option. I went for the USPS e-packet, it takes 5-12 business days and is trackable. It cost around $15, which I was really impressed with and only took about 5 days before it arrived to me. I also ended up with no customs charges, so I was lucky.

I will definitely be using this service again and actually have a couple of items on the way there now before forwarding them to me in the UK.

Do any of you have any of these products?
