CURRENT GO TO SKINCARE

When the seasons change I like to mix up my skincare as my skin has different needs depending on the weather. Now that autumn is here my skin gets a little drier from the cold and I also get dry skin patches. Todays post is all about the skincare I'm reaching for at the moment to keep my skin looking flawless whatever the weather.

I picked up a few products from the Vitamin E range a Superdrug as the products sounded quite good and they were so affordable. The first product is the Hot Cloth Cleanser an obvious dupe for the Liz Earle one. It comes with a muslin cloth so you have everything handy to begin with. The product itself I'm actually really impressed with, the smell is amazing as it contain cocoa butter and I actually prefer it to the Liz Earle one. The product itself is pretty good and gets rid of any residual makeup. The other two products I picked up were the Intense Moisture Cream and Serum, after using both my skin feels more hydrated and plumper. I would definitely recommend checking this range out as the products are pretty good and so reasonably priced.

I've been using this a lot recently after applying my foundation to lock it in place and add some radiance to my skin. It contains extracts of grape, toning rosemary, astringent organic mint balm and uplifting mint essential oils to help refresh the skin and tighten up your pores. I find this can be a little intense so only use it 2-3 times a week for some added glow.

This is part of the new range by Garnier and I'm so impressed by it. The range contains Amla and Pomegranate both of which are anti-oxidant fruit extracts to help hydrate and replump the skin. This moisturiser is gel based so although its super moisturising it is really lightweight on the skin. After using this I have very little dry patches or areas on my face and my skin feels plumper.

These are one of those balms that can pretty much be used anywhere and I find them so handy to carry around in my handbag etc. The main ingredient of these balms is fermented PawPaw from the plant carica papaya, which is known to have natural healing properties. I have been using this lately for so many uses, including my lips, dry skin on my face, dry hands and it leaves a incredibly smooth finish. This trio includes the original, Peach Pink and Ultimate Red both of which are great at adding some colour to you lips whilst keeping them moisturised.

I picked this up whilst I was in Sephora in Spain as i'd never seen it in a store before! Its pretty much the new love in my life and my skin has never felt so good. I've seen these used by quite a few big beauty YouTubers so I knew they must be good but they are amazing! I picked up this one to keep my skin hydrated and boy does it do that! It contains so many ingredients I wont list them all but they combine to create super technologies to hydrate, moisturise, restore, replenish and calm the skin. I use mine every other night as an overnight mask and instantly I can feel the product melting into my skin, it almost has a tingling effect.

Have any of you tried these skincare products?

  7. Reading this post has made me realise how little care I take of my skin. During the summer I don't really need much as my skin is fine but now that it's getting colder I should start getting into a routine! x
