NAILBOX AUGUST 2016

If you've read my blog for a while you'll know I actually used to order these Nailboxes, however, I had to stop them when I headed back to uni. Being a nail lover it was gutting to stop it this little surprise every month but student finances just didn't cover it. However, Nailbox recently contacted me to review their August 2016* I jumped at the chance to try it again.

Nailbox is a monthly subscription service where you pay £15 each month and get a box dispatched to you around the 21st with 5 nail products. They also offer you discounts if you order multiple boxes at the time. All the information can be found on their website here. Here is a run down of the products included in their August 2016 box.

Nicole by OPI in Carried Away | £6.50

This is any glitter nail lovers dream. Part of the more affordable OPI nail range in collaboration with Carrie Underwood, this fine gold glitter polish is perfect for when Christmas comes round the corner. I was actually glad to see a polish like this as I don't think I own a micro glitter gold. As you can see below the polish is actually quite opaque so could be worn on its own or over another polish.

Bourjois So Laque Ultra Shine Nail Polish in Orange Creation | £5.99

This is another I was glad to see in the box as i'd never tried Bourjois polishes before. This is part of the So Laque collection, which is a super shiny nail polish that can last up to 7 days. This collection is still sold at Boots, however, they don't seem to have this shade so I'm assuming it may have been discontinued. I've worn this polish for a couple of days and was impressed with the wear and look, I didn't wear it for long enough to comment whether it lasts up to 7 days but I do hope it does!

I actually have this in a mini bottle and i've used it a few times so was glad to see a full size version. It was part of last years Hawaii collection and one of the more darker colours from the collection. Its a deep violet shade that will be perfect for both the summer and winter season.

This was the product I was most intrigued to see. I do already own a stamping set but shamefully have never gotten round to using it. This one is by a brand i've never actually heard of. In the box I got the Love Boat stamp that has a nautical theme with ropes, anchors and fishes and also I got the Stamping Polish in white.

Have any of you tried Nailbox before?
