HOLIDAY MAKEUP BAG #2

So I actually did a holiday makeup bag post a few weeks ago (here) but I am actually now going on holiday in a few days and so have been planning the makeup i'll be taking, so here is a take two. I'm heading to Spain on Monday with my boyfriend and parents as my Grandma lives out there, I'm so excited as it feels like forever since I was last on a sun holiday - well it actually is over a year since I went to Thailand now. Since we will be at my Grandma's house my makeup will probably be really minimal especially with the heat!

BASE

I actually picked this one up especially for holiday as I wanted a light base but still with good coverage. This foundation has been one of my favourites recently for day to day as its good coverage but is almost weightless on the skin. This foundation has pretty much every ingredient you'd want it to have to keep your skin soft and moisturised and also has the benefit of an SPF20. It comes in a tube with a pump to get the product out so its great for travelling as its not as heavy as other glass bottle foundations.

This is honestly the best setting powder i've tried and is my go to all the time not just for my holiday! This is pretty famous in the makeup artist community and I can now tell why. I use this for baking (such a weird term for makeup!) and it stops my concealer from wearing off or creasing especially in the heat. I have to say the packaging isn't the most desirable and I would have preferred a pot that I could dip my brush into.

This is such a cult classic bronzer in the beauty world and if you don't own it, you need it! I've almost hit the pan on mine but I do have a back up in a pallet I have. Hoola is a cool toned bronze shade with a matte finish and I like to use it for adding a warm glow or contouring. I also have the liquid Dew the Hoola bronzer in a sample size I got with Elle and I think i'll use this as a base on holiday and enhance it with the powder.

Another cult product i've recently fallen in love with and don't know why its taken me so long to pick up this concealer. Before I had this I hadn't heard of anyone who tried this and didn't like it so I had high expectations. As soon as the artist on the UD stand put it on my I was amazed at how it covered my dark circles and brightened my eyes. This concealer is cream and blendable covering all imperfections and blending back into the rest of my makeup. I apply this to my under eyes, forehead and chin and blend it in with a damp beauty blender.

BLUSH & HIGHLIGHT

I was originally drawn to this for the tie dye effect in the product and the cool packaging, however, the product itself is pretty amazing too! The two colours are a soft pink and more vibrant pink that swirl together into a pretty candy floss pink.

This probably the best go to highlighter for holiday for that shimmery dewy look since its a cream base. I apply this champagne gold highlight into my face using my fingers and blend it out for a subtle glow the radiates from the skin. I think this will be lovely when I'm away and have a bit of a tan and could probably we worn on its own to enhance the natural tan.

As you can probably tell this holiday is all about those golden highlighters and this is the epitome of gold highlighters. Gilded Honey is a trued to gold highlighter with a slightly more chunky shimmer instead of a dewy highlight. I also adore the swirl pattern they put in these highlighters inspired by gelato as you could probably guess.

I've had this blusher for a while now and it always comes out when I head on holiday as I just think the shade is a bit bright for the British weather. The shade is a vibrant, almost neon, coral shade. The blush is really pigmented and so you need hardly any of it on your brush to get the colour into your cheeks. This is actually out of stock or discontinued on the website but I think it may be still available in stores.

This is definitely the dreamiest palette I own and it will probably go away with me everywhere! I've been a fan of the Jaclyn Hill Becca collaboration for a while and Champagne Pop is such a dreamy highlighter, it gives you a dewy highlight. Another i'll be using from this palette is the luminous blush in Rose Spritz, its a coral blush with a gold shimmer running through it. I have found all of the blushers and highlighter by Becca to be so pigmented and they are almost a cream formula on the skin giving that real dewy look.

Obviously the highlighter I already have in this post but the Glow Kits are too good not to take. The Gleam kit is a range of 4 bronzes and pink shades, I think this holiday I will be using Mimosa the most. It's deep golden peach shade that can really highlight a tan. These are so pigmented and give the most amazing dewy highlighter. As i'm writing this post I also received the Sweets Glow Kit I had ordered so I think that will be going with me as well as its just amazing!!

I've been wanting for forever but never got round to buying it, however, I finally picked it up in my recent UD haul. I went for the travel size incase I didn't like it and that it would be perfect to take away. So far I'm really impressed with this and it definitely keeps my makeup in place. I'm intrigued to try it on holiday and see how well it works in the heat.

EYES

Okay so this isn't the most summery of palettes, I would say it has more autumnal shades that summery but I'm still obsessed with it and will use it no matter the weather. The formula of these shadows has got to be the best I've tried they are pigmented, easy to blend and there is hardly any fall out! This palette has a selection of neutral matte and shimmer shades and some poppy bright pinks and reds. My favourites have to be Golden Ochre, a matte golden caramel, Primavera, a pale shimmery gold, and finally Antique Bronze, a matte redish brown.

Maybelline Color Tattoo in Eternal Gold | £4.99 | post

This was my go to eye colour when I was in Thailand last year as it was easy to wear and just completed the look with little effort. Eternal gold is a true to colour vibrant gold shade. I really like the Color Tattoos as they aren't too creamy and so don't crease or wear away easily.

Colour Pop Eyeshadow in La La | $5.00 | post

This is another of those easy to wear eyeshadows and can be worn either on its own or blended with other eyeshadows. The Colour Pop eyeshadows have such a unique formula being really buttery almost cream like, I'm still getting the hang of the best way to apply these because of the unique formula. The shade La La is a true rose gold with a metallic finish.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara | £7.99

I was a big fan of the original Lash Sensational but this one is a whole other level and probably the best drug store mascara i've tried! This is quite a wet mascara so applies to the lashes too well but you do need to be careful to not get it all over your eyes. I have found with this is gives me the perfect amount of length and volume.

LIPS

NYX Butter Gloss in Peach Cobbler | £5.00

I've been loving these butter glosses lately as an alternative from liquid lipsticks and it doesn't dry my lips out as much as a matte finish. I picked up this shade as on holiday I like bright shades but not always in lipstick form and its slightly more subtle that a full on lipstick.

Urban Decay Vice Comfort Matte Lipstick in Unicorn | £15.00 | post

I've gone on about this lipstick so much recently but its obviously an amazing summer colour that I will wear on holiday a lot. The comfort matte lipsticks are really nice to wear and don't dry your lips out, they also apply nicely and don't drag on your lips. Unicorn is a pale peachy nude, the perfect everyday summer shade.

Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips in Nude Kate | £23.00

I wont go into too much detail about these as I'm going to have a whole post up soon but i've been loving this shade lately and will be wearing it a lot when I'm away. The new Hot Lips are inspired by 12 women and this one in particular is inspired by Kate Moss. The lipsticks are creamy and moisturising with cashmere-soft matte finish. This shade is a classic nude shade that I think is targeted at those with more pale skin!

Do any of you have these products?
