If there is one thing everyone seems to be obsessed with lately, it's liquid lipsticks! I don't know what it is but they seem to be everywhere and brands seem to be launching new ones all the time. I'm totally on this hype and have tried my fair share of different brands. This post will give you the low down on most of them i've tried, whether or not I like them and my favourite shades.

I picked this one up when I did quite a big haul from New Look's beauty collection as I was intrigued to see how this one would fair against other liquid lipstick favourites. Overall I have found this to be okay and worth the money but it didn't blow me away. The formula is quick runny so you need to be careful not to apply too much as it would probably dry your lips out. I have the shade mink which is a really wearable soft rosy pink shade.

Too Faced Melted Lipstick | £19.00

This was probably one of the first liquid lipsticks I picked up and still one of my favourites and so different from the other lipstick lipsticks I have. One of the main differences is obviously the tube its housed in, this is a squeeze tube with a sponge applicator at the end as opposed to the standard tube with wand applicator. The formula is creamy but has a high shine finish and so your lips don't get left feeling dry. Peony is a sort of bubble gum pink shade.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams | £5.50 | post

This are probably my favourite everyday liquid lipstick to wear as they are just so lightweight and wearable. These are more of a mousse than a liquid and so feel like you aren't even wearing anything on your lips. I have quite a few shades of these now but some I'm loving lately are Canne (deep mauve pink) and Cairo (pale nude). One thing I would say about these is that because of the mousse formula they do seem to finish a lot quicker or you can't get much more product out of the tube.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick | $19.00 | post

Beauty lovers can no rejoice in the fact that these will soon be available in the UK at Debenhams!! Anyway these are a pretty famous liquid lipstick in the beauty world and I'm a big fan. The formula of these is creamy and smooth and it applies to the lips leaving a slight matte finish, they also didn't dry my lips out or go patchy. The shades I have (and love) are Bow N Arrow, a fawn nude, and Lolita, a mauve nude.

NYX Lip Lingerie | £6.50 | post

This is another favourite of mine for everyday as I find these to be quite lightweight and not that drying. The Lip Lingeries are a collection of nudes with a matte finish. The formula is quite wet so it does apply too thick but can be built up depending on the look you want. I now have 6 shades from the collection but the two photographed are Embellishment, a deep dusky purple, and Bedtime flirt, a dusky pink.

Colourpop Ultra Matte and Satin Liquid Lipstick | $6.00 | post

The satin version of this is another favourite of mine and I love the wear and finish, although the matte is a little drying. These are quite creamy and don't need a lot of product for you to get an opaque slick of colour. The shades here are Frick N Frack, a rosy terracotta, and Kae, a deep warm yellow brown. I have actually got a few more shades since the photos for this post were taken that I have found to be much more wearable for everyday.

NYX Liquid Suede | £6.50 | post

If you haven't guessed by now, I have a slight obsession with NYX liquid lipsticks!! The Liquid Suedes are a thick creamy formula with a matte finish. I've includes this shade as a bright pop of colour and because i'll be wearing it a lot when I go on holiday next month. Life's a Beach is a neon coral shade that I think will look lovely with a tan!

Kylie Cosmetics Matte Liquid Lipsticks | $29.00 | post

Of course the constantly sold out Kylie liquid lipsticks had to be included in this post, I wont go into too much detail as I have a full post on the link above. However, these matte lipsticks are most lovely smelling lip products I've tried, with a vanilla scent. They are matte and as long as you don't apply too much they aren't at all drying. I have the shades Dolce K, a deep beige nude, and Koko K, a dusky pink shade. I really do love these but if you want a cheaper alternative then check out Colourpop as the formula for the matte finish is virtually the same.
