Applying your makeup using some form of a stick seems to be around a lot more recent, with foundation, concealer, bronzer, blusher and highlighter all in stick form now. I have picked up quite a few contour sticks recently as they make my makeup application so much quicker and easier and you can contour precisely. Here is my run down of all of them i've tried and tested.
This is the most recently one I picked up as it was on offer in Boots and Collection are really upping their game lately. The stick itself is quite thin compared to the others so you get quite a precise line for your contour. I opted for the medium shade, which is quite a warm chocolate shade. The formula itself is really easy to blend and sort of sinks into the skin.
This is one of the first contour sticks I started using and one of my favourites but the whole Rosie collection is amazing! This stick is quite chubby so it isn't as precise as the collection one but I love the colour and formula of this one. This is another warm chocolate shade and the formula is creamy and blendable. Also the packaging of this one is to die for, who doesn't love rose gold?!
I actually got this one free with one of my orders and tossed in a drawer and never used it, untilI found it to take away with me. This shade is slightly orangey with a slight shimmer so it isn't the best match for my skin tone but I can make do. This is again a chubby stick so isn't very precise but blends really easy.
I sort of have a love hate relationship with this stick. I love it as its two in one so you get a contour and highlighter and also the formula is easy to blend and creamy. However, having both shades on one stick means you need to be really careful when applying so you don't mix the colours into each other. Other than that though these blend out really lovely with a matt finish. I have the medium version which has a earthy brown contour shade and a vanilla highlight shade.
This is another of my favourites and you get both contour and highlight again but without the risk of the two blending into each other. The Wonder stick has a contour at one end and a highlight at the other. The stick itself on these is also smaller so quite precise making the contouring in hard to reach areas easier. I have the light shade, which has a cool toned brown and a very pale cream shade for highlighting.
What are your favourite contour sticks?!

I really need to try more contour sticks! The collection sounds amazing so cheap - who knew they did them!

The Rosie for Autograph one seems the nicest in terms of colour, but the NYX one also looks really good, that highlight is such a good shade for pale skin! I've never tried a contour stick but I might have to give one of those two a try.

I currently use the Freedom Pro Contouring Stick which is pretty much like the NYX version but it is only £5 total bargain, it blends like a dream. Im not usually a fan of cream contour but I love this one.

I've seen so many makeup sticks around at the moment! I bought a highlighting stick from collection and it's one of the best products I've ever owned! So maybe trying the contour stick from collection as well would be a good shout :) xx

I have yet to find a contour stick that works for me! Everything seems to come off as either super orange or super ashy on my olive complexion. Ugh. I did just pick up the Maybelline contour stick and really like the color of it, but you are absolutely right! The dual sided concept drives me nuts. I wish they would just make it similar to the NYX wonder stick.

I've not tried any contour sticks but this post has persuaded me to, I'm think I might pick up the Rosie for Autograph one, it looks like a pretty shade for my pale skin...now just to find a highlight to compliment it!

I don't have any cream contour sticks, I mostly use powder. I would love to try the Collection and the Rosie ones! The shades look perfect for me.

I love contour sticks because of how easy and convenient they are to use! Haven't tried the NYX duo though, it looks amazing in the swatch!
