Recently I've really gotten into my skincare and have buying new products A LOT! My skin tends to be combination with a slightly oily t-zone and then random dry patches, especially around my eyes and the edges of my nose. This post is sort of a skincare haul/trial of the products.
St Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub | £4.19
I have the body version of this and I'm obsessed with it and it smells amazing. The facial version is a slightly more gentle version and it still smell as amazing. I use this after removing my makeup once of twice a week to remove any dead skin cells and smooth out my skin. I find after using this my skin is softer and seems brighter.
Good Things Manuka Honey Radiance Face Mask | £5.99
I was inspired to try this out after reading Jasmine Talks Beauty mention it on her blog as an alternative to the Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Face Mask - one i've been wanting to try. Manuka honey is great for tackling blemishes but it also keeps skin feeling moisturised. This mask is clay based so once you apply it it dries. I found that my skin feel cleaner and brighter but still moisturised compared to other clay based masks where my skin can feel dry and dehydrated.
Good Things Deep Pore Anti Blemish Lotion | £4.99
I'm quite lucky with my skin with the fact that I rarely get blemishes but I'm all for trying products to help keep them away. I also picked this up as my nose tends to have pores I want to minimise. I tend to only apply this to my t-zone so I don't dry out the rest of my face. The product itself smells amazing as it contains strawberry extract. So far I haven't notices a big difference in the size of my pores but I'm hoping that it will continue to do so.
The Body Shop Vitamin C Skin Reviver | £16.00
I actually only picked up this as it was in a set with the Vitamin C moisturiser I like, however, I'm using this a lot now. I use this as a primer as its silicon based as it smooths out my skin before foundation application. For some reason Im not actually that keen on the smell as this as it doesn't smell the same at the moisturiser, however, it helps my skin radiate and keep it hydrated.
Nip+Fab Dragons Blood Fix Pads | £9.95
This is what I use if I'm in a rush with my skincare routine as they can help cleanse my pores and hydrate my skin all in one. They contain both salicylic acid which helps penetrate and deeply clean the pores and hyaluronic that break down dead skin cells.
Avene Cleanance Expert | £15.00
This is another once that came in a set but has become a favourite product of mine this past few weeks. I've been applying this after my cleanse and tone to help reduce the oil in my skin and mattify and then I apply a moisturiser on top. It also gently exfoliates the skin and unclogs the pores.
La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo | £15.50
This is one of those products I had seen on so many blogs that I just needed to get my hands on it. This is another anti blemish cream that I apply under my moisturiser to help keep the blemishes away. So far I've noticed that even tiny spots or blemishes have gone down.
Avenue Soothing Eye Contour Cream | £10.00
This is one of the best products i've bought in a while and I don't know what i've been doing without it in my life. For some odd reason I suffer with dry skin on my eyelids and under my eyes and this leads to my concealer going flakey and creased. This contour cream hydrates the gentle skin around my eyes and helps protect them. My eyes now don't get sore or itchy and my makeup stays in place so much longer.

The St. Ives Scrubs are my favourites and have been for years now, I love how my skin feels after using them. La Roche-Posay is one of my favourite brands too. One brand you might love is Templa Spa, I am obsessed with their gel cleanser!

I love the Nip+Fab cleansing pads, but they have been replaced by my Pixi Glow Tonic. I also used to use the effeclar duo years ago, but have missed it in my skincare routine recently and you reminded me why!
