NATIONAL LIPSTICK DAY

Happy National Lipstick Day!! Oh what a great day to have for any beauty lover. This post was originally planned for a few days time but since it is National Lipstick Day i've bought it forward. This will be a round up of all the lipsticks i've been using this past month including some new favourites and some old ones I always go back to. 

Colour Pop Lippie Stix in Lumiere | $5.00 | post

The CP Lippie Stix are definitely my favourite thing i've tried from them as I just found it so easy to wear and apply. Lumiere is described as a dusky rose pink shade and it was actually a little darker than I was expecting, I would say it was more of a mauve pink.

NYX Butter Gloss in Madeline | £5.00

This has been my go to lip product for every day use for the past month. Its a brown toned nude shade obviously with a glossy finish. I really like these glosses are they are quite thick and actually look like lipstick with a gloss on top. They are also great for keeping your lips moisturised.

Kylie Lip Kit in KoKo K | $29.00

I've finally joined the Kylie Lip Kit club and so happy I have done. I'll have a more in depth post going up soon on the products I got but I had to include this in the post as i've been wearing KoKo K a lot since I got it. KoKo K (names after Khloe I'm assuming) is rosy pink shade and ones that wearing for both day and night. The liquid lipstick itself has a matte finish but isn't overly drying in my opinion as long as you don't apply too much. The longevity is pretty good although it does wear off slightly when eating or drinking.

Soap & Glory Gloss Stick in Nudist | £3.50 | post

I just love these as they are so affordable and good quality. I actually think this shade is just in revamped packaging from their own shades as i'm sure I used to have it. Nudist is a really great shade for evening out the colour of you lips with a slight tint and adding a glossy finish. 

MAC Morange | £15.50

The only one in this post that isn't in the nude colour scheme, it's so hard to wear bright colours when your working full time. However, I love this shade to wear in the summer as it brightens up any look. Morange is described as a loudmouth orange in an amplified cream finish so not at all drying but a lovely thick slick of colour.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bow N Arrow | $20.00 | post

Another liquid lipstick i've been dying to try and finally got my hands on and don't worry girls in the UK it will be coming to Debenhams soon! The shade i've been loving is shockingly a nude shade, Bow N Arrow is fawn nude shade and actually reminds me a little of Velvet Teddy. The formula is really lovely and lasts ages on my lips!

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in London | £5.50 | post

If you haven't tried these lip cream before, you need to, they are amazing! They are a light mousse texture so you really can't feel them on your lips! London is again a cool nude shade and I actually love wearing this with Madeline on top.

New Look Pure Colour Lip Crayon in Mink | £3.99 | post

I'm so impressed by the New Look makeup range and this lip crayon is one thing I'm loving. The lip crayon is sort of a thin layer of lipstick when its applied and almost tints your lips rather than too much colour. If you haven't tried out the NL makeup range yet then you should try it out soon!
