Morphe is pretty much renowned for its 35O eyeshadow palette but it's sold out everywhere all the time in the UK - please can somewhere hurry up and restock it in the UK. Anyway, since I can't get my hands on the 35O I picked up two of the 12 shade palettes. Both of these palettes are available in the UK on Cult Beauty and Beauty Bay and are priced at £11.95.
The first palette out of the two I picked up was the Soul of Summer (12S) palette. The main reason was that although I loved the look of it I could see it being one of those listed edition ones for the summer. The palette is a selection earthy shades all in a shimmery finish. As soon as I opened it and swatched it I was so impressed with the formula and can see why the eyeshadow palettes seem to be sold out a lot. I love how in this palette there are some different shades but they all go together.
I picked up the Natural Beauty (12NB) palette after and partly due to the fact that it had some similar shades to the 35O palette. This one has more neutral lighter shades in matte and a shimmer finish. The formula seems to be very similar to the 12S but some of the matte shades aren't quite as buttery.
In terms of the two palettes I can i'll use the 12NB a lot more for neutral day time looks and the 12S for more intense shimmery looks if I'm heading out. Both are housed in the signature Morphe black packaging with the logo on the front and are very sturdy. They aren't too big either and I can see them being easy to take away with me.
Since trying both of these I'm excited to get my hands on some of the other Morphe palettes and the 35T is next on my list since the 35O is always sold out.
