MAKEUP HAUL

Recently i've picked up a few new beauty bits whilst out shopping so I thought todays post could combine all the newbies. This was going to originally be a drugstore haul but a few of the items were from the beauty section at M&S. Most of these products are new out or hyped up products so I wanted to try them out!

Rimmel Volume Colourist Mascara | £7.99 

I picked this one up after seeing a couple of people review it online and raving about how it did actually make your lashes lighter. Being a blonde my lashes are naturally lighter so i'm up for anything to make them darker. I've been using this for around a week now and whilst you need to use it for at least 2 weeks to notice a difference my lashes do appear a little darker. My only issue with this mascara is that it doesn't give me the volume I want. I have been applying this as a base to get the most of the tint and then applying another mascara over the top for volume.

Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lip Colour & Gloss Lip Colour | £3.50

I have been eyeing these up for a while considering they are quite cheap and I'm always impressed with S&G makeup products. I finally found them stocked at my local Boots so picked up a shade in each finish. A couple of the shades I looked out were out of stock but in the end I picked Nudist in the gloss finish and Fire Cracker in the matte finish. I'm really impressed with matte finish as it isn't too drying and the gloss just adds a lovely shine to the colour.

Barry M Illuminating Strobe Cream | £4.99

I saw on Twitter a few days ago that this was out of stock everywhere so when I spotted it in stock at my local Boots it went straight in my basket. I'm normally a powder highlighter fan but i've seen a few people rave about this one. In terms of highlighter its quite subtle compared to others I own and adds more of a glow rather than a shimmer. The cream based product blends really well into my skin and the rest of my makeup.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Copenhagen | £5.50

You'll probably know already that I absolutely love these lip creams and picked this one up as I was lacking darker shades in my collection. Copenhagen is a deep berry red shade and in my opinion very similar to MAC's Rebel. In case you haven't tried these the texture is light and fluffy almost like a mousse and feels weightless on your lips.

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eye Liner | £14.50

I really struggle with finding the perfect liquid liner for myself and heard this was pretty much the cult eyeliner to have. I picked this one up in an M&S store and they seem to stock Stila everywhere, even in their smaller stores. So far I'm really impressed with this liner, i've used it around 5 times and its still at wet and easy to use as the first one. The thin tip also allows you to make a precise flick on your eye.

Rosie for Autograph Highlighter Powder | £18.00

Rosie's range for M&S is one of my favourite launches this year and everything in her collection seems to be such amazing quality. I was originally hoping to pick up the highlighting stick as i'd seen amazing reviews but it was sold out in every store I went to so picked up the powder highlight instead - i'm so glad I did! Rose Bud is a very pale shimmery pink shade in a loose powder format.
