MORPHE BRUSH COLLECTION

I've been wanting to try out some of Morphe brushes for a while but I only had new Zoeva ones for Christmas and student funds wouldn't allow it! However, recently I heard about the #MorpheMe subscription from Live Glam, where you get over $30 worth of brushes for $19.99. Initially I wasn't sure if they shipped to the UK until I spotted something on Instagram with them and they told that they shipped to the UK and all you had to pay was $8/9 shipping.

Today's post is a combination of April and May's brushes as I thought it would be better that way. Overall I'm pretty impressed with the time it takes to arrive, mine gets shipped on the 25th of every month and I normally receive it about a week/10 days later with no customs!

APRIL BRUSHES

I've only notice whilst writing this post but some of these brushes must be from an old collection as the E1 on sale in the UK is a different colour. However, I'm not bothered as I actually really like this brush, its quite a fat and full powder brush which is great for applying powder and also buffing all my foundation in. This is kind of like a kabuki brush but just with a long handle which I think is much better as I have those stumpy handles you get.

The eye brushes were the main ones I wanted to try from Morphe so I'm glad there were two in my first subscription. This brush is sort of a mix between firm and fluffy and I find its great for applying a colour all over the lid. I actually prefer eye brushes with natural hair compared to synthetic as I find that the eyeshadow applies a lot nice.

This brush is slightly bigger and fluffier and more for blending everything out at the end. It's quite similar to the Zoeva soft definer brush but the head is more rounded. This brush is also great for adding an inner corner highlight to you eye.

MAY BRUSHES

Again all of this months brushes must be from the old elite range as they are all a different colour. I was excited to see this brush when it arrived as I wanted a fluffy brush for highlighter, whilst it is described as a powder brush I've been using it to swipe highlighter down my cheeks. The brush is so fluffy that it picks up a good amount of product and blends it beautifully.

I like applying my powder contour with an angled brush so I was excited to try out what Morphe had to offer. Th width of the brush is quite thin which is good as it really gets into the hollows of your cheeks and applies just enough product.

E36 Detail Crease Brush | £8.95

This is probably the brush I would use least out of them all. If I want to apply something in my crease I tend to go for a bit of a bigger brush so I can blend it out. I haven't used this yet but I'm thinking it might be good for blending something along the lash line as its quite small.

What are some of your Morphe brush picks?
