JUNE FAVOURITES

Can anybody believe we are half way through the year already?! Where has 2016 gone! June has been a bit of a crazy month for me with having my last exam and finishing uni forever and heading straight into my graduate job. However, even with everything that is going on in my life I have a few favourite from this month to bring to you.

Models Own Highlighting Powder | £8.99* | post

I've tried quite a few products from the new makeup collection by Models Own but this is by far my favourite. I'm a highlighter junkie so I was biased towards this type of product but I really do love it and have used it loads this month. As the name is suggests its a peachy pearl shade and probably more suited to paler skin.

Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Powerless Foundation | £5.99

I used to use the original Fit Me foundation a few years ago and was a fan so I was intrigued to try this one out. I would say the formal of this is quite light and weightless and a matte finish but not drying like the L'Oreal Infallible matte. I've also been using this one a lot this month when I'm not fake tanned as I opted for the shade ivory.

ColourPop Ultra Satin Liquid Lipstick in Frick N' Frack | $6.00 | post

It was a big toss up between including the Lippie Stix or this in my favourites. However, although I love the shade Lumiere in the Lippie Stix I really love the formula of this liquid lipstick. The satin finish means it isn't as drying as a matte and also the longevity is pretty good. Frick N' Frack is a rosy terracotta shade and one I think i'll wear a lot more in the autumn.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette | £41.00 | post

Of course I had to include the palette of the moment in this months favourites, I have a more detailed post available above so I won't go into too much detail. However, this palette really is unlike any other I've tried and the formula of the eyeshadows is my absolute favourite. If there is one new eyeshadow palette you get this summer, make it this one definitely!

Models Own Now Brow! Eyebrow Pencil & Blender | £7.99 | post

I love this pencil purely for the angled design as its so good at filling in my brows and defining them. Compared to the likes of the S&G angled brow pencil I have found this to be a lot creamier and easier to apply. The little blending sponge with product in the lid if really good for adding more volume and dept to the brows.

Topshop Glow Pot in Gleam | £9.00 | post

I've been using this a lot recently for that dewy glowing look, and although it's cream based its not at all heavy on the skin. Gleam is a soft gold shade which when you're tanned really enhances the natural glow.

Smashbox Pop of Pink Blush | post

Every time I blog about this I realise that its not available any more, I got mine in a set at an outlet store so that is probably why. However, I find this pink so versatile as in the winter it can be used on pale skin for that flushed cheek look or in the summer it looks good against tanned skin.

Zoeva Face Shape Brush | £11.00 & Concealer and Buffer Brush | £9.00 | post

Although I had the rose gold set at christmas I've been using these two brushed so much lately. One of my biggest issues it dark under eyes and I find applying concealer with the buffer brush and then setting them with powder at the face shape brush makes the concealer stay in place all day.

What are your favourites this month?
