FALSE EYELASH FAVOURITES

Recently i've started wearing eyelashes more often and have been trying out a few different types. I used to stick to wearing lashes for a night out as I didn't want to look too overdone for a day time, however, I have discovered some really great subtle day time pairs. When picking eyelashes I tend to go for something that can add length and volume but not overly out there. I tend to stick to lashes around the  £5 price point since I can quite often ruin them on a night out or lose them when I take them off.

ARDELL

I spotted these when I was browsing the beauty department on Amazon one time and thought they were so affordable at around £10 for 4 pairs. The Ardell Demi Wispies are the perfect pair for me, whenever I buy other pairs of lashes I always have to trim them down but these were the perfect band width. The demi wispies are really great for a natural day time look, which add just the right amount of volume and length.

EYELURE

Eyelure were the first lashes I really started wearing since they were so readily available in Boots and Superdrug. They have an amazing range of lashes and some really great collaborations. The most recent one I've discovered is the House of Holland range, my favourites from the three pairs are the Ruffle* pair as again they are a great pair for daytime or nighttime. This pair have a really thin application strip which I love as I can barely feel them on and they don't feel heavy. These lashes are price at £5.95 much like the other Eyelure pairs and so are a great price, I have used these probably 3/4 times and they are still great to use.

MODELS OWN

I got this pair when I won a giveaway from Models Own (post here) after picking them for my wishlist. This is the Textured* pair is another great one for length and not too much volume, however, I did find this pair wouldn't sit properly on top of my own lashes. The false lashes were just way too curled in comparison to my lashes that are quite straight, I have tried using eyelash curlers before applying them and applying mascara to join my own lashes to the false ones but unfortunately they just didn't look right.

THREADS

I spotted Threads lashes on Instagram and was keen to try out some of their lashes. I have the Charleston* pair and the Red Cherri* pair. The Charleston pair are a more subtle daytime pair which add a good amount of length, and the Red Cherri pair are quite a dramatic volumising pair. I did find these were lashes I needed to cut down as they were quite wide for my eyes but they applied well and didn't feel too heavy.

What are your favourite false eyelashes?
