SUMMER BLUSHERS

So finally Summer seems to be making an appearance and I can go outside without freezing. Summer also means to me lighter bases for your skin with a slight flush to the cheeks. This post is all about my favourite blusher picks for summer featuring lots of pinks, peaches and oranges.

I had to include this as although it's cream based it feels so light on the skin and gives a slight dewy finish. I really love this formula as it blends out so beautifully and doesn't smudge any of my makeup underneath. The shade is a rosy pink with coral undertones as you would expect from the name. There is a couple of the other shades in these sticks I'm hoping to pick up for the summer.

Topshop Blusher in Let Her Go | £7.00

I never normally go for bright blushers a they don't really suit me but I was really drawn to the bright coral shade. I would say this is one to use more when I have sun kissed skin so it doesn't look bright on me. I really like to formula of these as although its quite powdery its very pigmented and it lasts for a while.

Smashbox Soft Lights in Prism

This is sort of a mix between a blush and a highlighter, I tend to use it as a blush as I like a highlighter with a bit of a shimmer. Prism is a really soft pale pink with adds a flush of pink to you cheeks. Since the colour is quite pale I use it more at the beginning of summer as it can wash my skin out when I'm tanned. Unfortunately I couldn't find this anywhere online and I picked it up at an outlet store so i'm thinking it has now been discontinued.

Makeup Revolution Baked Blusher in Make Love Instead | £2.50

I really love these baked blushers from MUR and they are so affordable. Make Love Instead is a peachy coral shade which looks lovely on sun kissed cheeks. I find that these blushers are really pigmented and you only need a tiny bit on the brush. The powder's pretty baked pattern also reminds me of the Hourglass blushers if your on the hunt for a dupe.

MAC Cinderella Collection Blush in Coupe D'Chic

Yet another that unfortunately isn't available any more but I just had to include it. When I was lucky enough to get some of the MAC Cinderella collection last year I was so happy about getting this blusher. This is another that could be a highlighter or a blusher but I opt for the latter. Its a gorgeous shimmery pinky peach shade that adds a hint of colour.

MAC Powder Blush in Lovecloud | £18.50

This was my first MAC blusher and is still a long time favourite! It's a bright mid-tone pink shade and i've found it really suits my skin tone. Again I'm really impressed with the formula and find that it lasts all day whilst others do wear off.

What are your summer blusher picks?
