I kind of have a love/hate relationship with Primark, sometimes I can go in there and find lots of stuff and other it just seems to be a load of rubbish. However, one thing I always pop in there for is beauty supplies, things like cotton pads, fake tan mitts, nail files and exfoliating gloves are all things I always buy from there. The quality of the stuff is normally just as good as Boots or Superdrug at a fraction of the price.
I haven't tried any of their makeup before but they seem to be bringing out lots of new products lately. When I was in there recently I noticed the lip liners and they were only a £1 so I thought they would be worth a try. The shade selection in my local store wasn't great with these three being the only ones available - there might be bigger selections in bigger stores.
I picked up all three shades they had. I can't actually find names for them on the packaging anywhere so I will just say Peach, Burgundy and Fuchsia. I would have liked to see some other such as reds, nudes and other pink shades but hopefully I can find them in another store.
The formula is quite cream and glides on smoothly and it leaves an opaque look of colour. I have only swatched these on my arm and tried them on my lips for a few minutes so I can't comment on the longevity but I would like to say they would last a while and they did stain my arm slightly.
These are priced at £1 much like a lot of Primark's beauty range and in my opinion it is great value for money.
Will any of you be trying out these lip liners?
xo
These look really nice & so cheap! Even if they're not that great at £1 each its a real bargain. Ive never tried anything from Primarks beauty range.

I heard Sabrina from Little Obsessed talk about these on YouTube, she hasn't very impressed with them. I think the felt tip applicator put her off.

the colours look absolutely stunning. I'm sure these would be a great alternate for when you need a very specific colour for a specific occasion.
ReplyDeleteI have the light pink but I thought it was too light :(
ReplyDeleteI adore the nude lip crayon tho!
