So the time has come again for this months favourites, I can't believe how quick this year has gone. This month has been pretty busy with uni deadlines and my final 2 exams coming up. I can't believe my 4 years at university and i'll soon be a graduate and in the big wide world. Anyway this months favourites is a collection of products I've been using for a while and others i've gotten this month and instantly fallen in love with.
I actually have a whole post dedicated to this little beauty so I won't go into too much detail but I just had to include it as i've been reaching for it loads recently. This was released last year and at first I thought it looked good but I wasn't worried about going out and buying it straight away. However, when I saw Jaclyn Hill (the queen of highlighting) swatch it on her Snapchat I just needed it. The palette has 4 highlighters; a dusky pink cream based one, a silvery champagne shade and two baked ones in a pink and a peach shade. The pigmentation of all the powder shades is incredible and they are all so shimmery without having chunks of glitter.
This is another one that I have a full blog post on but I've been loving this as well. The palette is a collection of 10 eyeshadows and 4 highlighters - can you tell I'm loving a good highlighter lately?! The eyeshadows are mostly neutral browns and creams with a few plummy shades. Now for my favourite part the highlighters, the two lightest shades are really lovely matches for my skin tone and I can't see the darker shades being great for the summer with a tan.
I used to love Benefit's Boi-ing concealer years ago but I found that it ran out so fast so when I was in Benefit recently the lovely assistant showed me the Erase Paste and how well it concealed my under eye bags. She also told me that she had it herself and how much she still had left after having it for a year, so I was sold. I have the lightest shade as I like my concealer to be a bit paler than my foundation. The formula is really creamy, it blends so lovely under my eyes and I find that it lasts quite a while.
For the month of May Benefit has been giving away a free Gimme Brow with all brow waxes this month. I've been wanting to try out their brow services for a while so I booked myself in and also to take full advantage of the freebie. I actually already had the light/medium one so this time I opted for the darker one and I have found the two together is the perfect shade for my brows. I tend to use this after I have filled my brows in to set them and fill in any other bits. I also can't wait to pick up some of Benefits new brow as it looks incredible!
As an avid lover of Lash Sensational I wasn't sure I could find another drugstore mascara that would live up to it. I picked up this along with Lash Sensational and have found that layering this on top of Lash Sensational really adds definition and length to my lashes and takes them to the next level. Unfortunately I have found this formula a little too wet to put on my bare lashes but layered over another it's perfect.
I picked up this after seeing it on a couple of blogs and seeing how people loved it. When it comes to foundation I tend to go for something with medium coverage and want it to be able to last all day, this one has both of these and i've been reaching for it all month! I opted for the combination/oily one over the one for dry skin as my t-zone gets quite oily and especially in the summer.
What have been some of your favourite this month?
