LAURA GELLER | GILDED HONEY ILLUMINATOR REVIEW & SWATCHES

It's official I'm a highlighter addict, but the summer is coming and that is all about glowing skin, so a new one is acceptable. I've been on the hunt for this Laura Geller Gilded Honey Gelato Swirl Highlighter but it seemed to be out of stock everywhere. I'd all but given up hope until I spotted it in stock on the House of Fraser website and it even at 10% off to make it £18.90.

The Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminators have the prettiest swirl pattern and very much like an ice cream swirl. It's housed a small circle compact with a clear perspex lid with the Laura Geller logo. The product its self is quite small but perfect for popping into your handbag or travel bag to take away.

The Illuminators come in two shades; Ballerina a soft rosy pink and Gilded Honey a vibrant gold shade. Ballerina seems to be in stock everywhere but Gilded Honey is a lot harder to track down and I can see why. I went for Gilded Honey as I thought it would be the perfect shade for summer with bronzed skin and my blonde hair.

The pigmentation of it really is amazing and it sits on my skin lovely and lasts all day. Its not as harsh as some other gold highlighters I have but gives your skin a subtle glow. I have also been using this as an eye product as its perfect for an inner corner highlight or a highlighter to the brow bone as it isn't too over powering.

Will any of your be picking up this highlighter for the summer?

  4. I've been eyeing this for a while and it's always sold out. And in that time I ended up picking up the Becca highlight in moonstone. But I noticed this has been in stock a lot more lately and it'll be tempting me throughout summer! It is such a gorgeous shade though.
