CC BEAUTY BOX

I sort of have a love/hate relationship with beauty boxes, some of them I love and use all the products and then others arrive and use one product and thats it. I always like to see what I'm going to get before I order it to check that i'll use the products and that was the great thing about the CC Beauty Box. I spotted this on @stefanijwatson snapchat, and it all looked like products I would use. It's £29.99 for the box but Aprils was worth over £100 and they guarantee this for every month. You can get subscriptions for 3, 6 or 12 months which will make it cheaper for you and I may consider that once i'm working full time. So here are all the products I received in April's box, May's is available on the 4th and I think i'll be making a purchase soon.

I saw this when it was released last year and loved the idea of it but wasn't sure it was worth the money to me. However, now that I have I've been using it everyday i'm so glad it came in this box. I use the sunrise yellow for under my eyes and the middle of my forehead, totally toasted as a contour and moon river to highlight my cheeks. The powders settle on my skin lovely and the yellow and purple don't come across to harsh on my face.

I've actually never tried any of the NARS lip pencils before but always wanted to as i've always been told they are amazing. The shade in the box was Tortola which is a chocolate brown shade, I couldn't actually find it on the NARS website so I'm assuming it has been discontinued. This is more of a wintery shade for me so I think i'll be putting it away until the Autumn.

Elizabeth Arden Eye Pencil in Umber #05 | £9.99

I'm not usually an eyeliner wearer so I wasn't as excited about this product. However, it is always handy to have a brown eyeliner in your collection. I think ill probably use this for when I'm having a smokey eye just add a bit of definition.

Ciate Strawberry Shortcake Paint Pot | £9.00

I already have this shade in a mini bottle from one of their advent calendars and its a pale pink opaque shade. I did see on their website and in other's beauty boxes that people got other shades but i'm quite happy with this pink as it's one I know ill wear.

Benefit Benebalm Mini | £7.99

Again I already own the full size version of this and its another favourite of mine for keeping my lips hydrated but also with a pop of colour. I'll probably put this mini version in my handbag for on the go.

Estee Lauder Modern Muse Mini Perfume | £7.99

My mum actually has this perfume and I really love the smell of it, its quite a deep smell with scents of jasmine accord and woods accord. I'll popping this mini in my handbag as well for on the go and its great as its a spray rather than one of those pouring bottles.

Molton Brown Cucumber Conditioning Shampoo

I've never actually tried any of the Molton Brown hair products, my mum has the soap and hand wash around the house and it always smell so good. I've yet to use this one on my hair and can't seem to find it online to read any reviews. I'm not sure how I feel about cucumber on my hair but I'm going to try it this week to see what its like.

The Body Shop Eau De Toilette in White Musk | £13.00

I have to say this is my least favourite of the products as I'm not really a fan of the smell. I think i'll use this for freshening up my room rather than spraying myself as its a scent that doesn't suite me at all.

Have any of you for this beauty box?
