MAY FAVOURITES

So the time has come again for this months favourites, I can't believe how quick this year has gone. This month has been pretty busy with uni deadlines and my final 2 exams coming up. I can't believe my 4 years at university and i'll soon be a graduate and in the big wide world. Anyway this months favourites is a collection of products I've been using for a while and others i've gotten this month and instantly fallen in love with.

FORZA | STIR IT SLIM HOT CHOCOLATE*

I'm currently in the middle of my final exams for uni so quite stressed and eating healthy is the last thing on my mind. My dedication to the gym has also gone and I haven't been in like two months (shameful!) However, whilst trying to cram in as much revision as possible I've been trying out these quick and easy meal replacements. 

SUMMER ESSENTIALS

So summer in the UK has finally made an appearance, although the humidity is ridiculous and my hair is constantly going frizzy i'm so happy to finally have some sunshine. Now that its summer is here I've been switching up my outfits, makeup, skincare and nail colours all in favour of the summer. 

GIVE YOUR MAKEUP STAYING POWER

Having my makeup stay in place all day is one of met biggest battle and especially now the weather is getting warmer I'm finding my makeup is sliding off my face even more. The biggest areas I struggle with is under my eyes and around my mouth area and at the end of the day these areas are patchy and my foundation has creased. So here is may run down of some of my favourite primer, powders and setting sprays and ones i'm not so impressed with.

BRONZERS FOR SUMMER

So it seems like summer may be finally making an appearance in the UK, however, I will most likely be stuck in the library for the next 2 weeks preparing for my upcoming exams. Since I won't be able to achieve a tan from the sun i've picked out my favourite products to give me that sun kissed glow.

SUMMER BLUSHERS

So finally Summer seems to be making an appearance and I can go outside without freezing. Summer also means to me lighter bases for your skin with a slight flush to the cheeks. This post is all about my favourite blusher picks for summer featuring lots of pinks, peaches and oranges.

ASOS BEAUTY HAUL

This was originally going to be a NYX haul #2 (haul #1 here) but I picked up a few other items when ASOS had 20% student discount so I thought i'd do an ASOS beauty haul. I find ASOS is a great place for beauty products as the stock NYX, NARS, Benefit, Illamasqua and plenty of other brands that you can often get with 10/20% off if you're a student. I do find that their ranges don't include everything that a specific brand has to offer but it's still a great selection. 

PRIMARK BEAUTY | LIP LINERS

I kind of have a love/hate relationship with Primark, sometimes I can go in there and find lots of stuff and other it just seems to be a load of rubbish. However, one thing I always pop in there for is beauty supplies, things like cotton pads, fake tan mitts, nail files and exfoliating gloves are all things I always buy from there. The quality of the stuff is normally just as good as Boots or Superdrug at a fraction of the price. 

LAURA GELLER | GILDED HONEY ILLUMINATOR REVIEW & SWATCHES

It's official I'm a highlighter addict, but the summer is coming and that is all about glowing skin, so a new one is acceptable. I've been on the hunt for this Laura Geller Gilded Honey Gelato Swirl Highlighter but it seemed to be out of stock everywhere. I'd all but given up hope until I spotted it in stock on the House of Fraser website and it even at 10% off to make it £18.90.

MAKEUP REVOLUTION | NAKED CHOCOLATE PALETTE

Okay so I may have a slight addiction to neutral colour palettes but who can resist white chocolate. I got this in the Superdrug 3 for 2 so it was effectively free but at £7.99 it really is great value for 16 shades. I'm always really impressed with Makeup Revolution palettes and i've previously blogger about their 32 shade Ultra Eyeshadow palette (here).

SLEEK SOLSTICE PALETTE

I'm the biggest sucker ever for highlighters and my collection is just getting bigger and bigger. What girl doesn't love a bit of sparkle to leave your skin glowing?! I've been eyeing up this Sleek palette for a good could of month and when Jaclyn Hill showed just how shimmery it was on her snapchat I had to get it. I picked this up when there was a 3 for 2 in Superdrug and probably a lot of other pieces I didn't need!

TONI & GUY | GLAMOUR DEEP WAVER

Since I have quite long hair I love experimenting with different styles. The lovely people at Toni&Guy have kindly sent over the Glamour Deep Waver to try out. I tend to do all my hairstyles with my GHD so I was excited to try out another styler.

BARRY M | COCONUT INFUSION POLISHES

I'm an absolute sucker for Barry M nail polishes as in my opinion they are some of the best and so affordable. Whenever they release a new collection I always try a few out and I was really intrigued by their new Coconut Infusion range. It's a collection of 9 shades to get you ready for spring/summer and all with names inspired by being on holiday.

BH COSMETICS | SHAAANXO AND CARLI BYBEL PALETTES

When I heard one of my favourite Youtubers was bringing out a palette I just knew I had to have it. I'm obsessed with Shaaanxo and her tutorials are amazing so anything that will get my makeup to look a little bit like hers I want it. I also picked up the Carli Bybel palette as it looked likely kind of thing and I'd heard others mention how amazing it is.

CC BEAUTY BOX

I sort of have a love/hate relationship with beauty boxes, some of them I love and use all the products and then others arrive and use one product and thats it. I always like to see what I'm going to get before I order it to check that i'll use the products and that was the great thing about the CC Beauty Box. I spotted this on @stefanijwatson snapchat, and it all looked like products I would use. It's £29.99 for the box but Aprils was worth over £100 and they guarantee this for every month. You can get subscriptions for 3, 6 or 12 months which will make it cheaper for you and I may consider that once i'm working full time. So here are all the products I received in April's box, May's is available on the 4th and I think i'll be making a purchase soon.
